Abarth models we repair

Find your model below, then choose the work you need. Hatchbacks, cabrios and the 124 Spider share the Abarth badge, but their engines, transmissions and fitted parts need individual attention.

Abarth 500 and 500C

Petrol hatchback and convertible servicing, engine repairs, clutch work, brakes and electrical faults. European T-Jet cars and North American MultiAir imports use different engine specifications; imported automatics also need the correct transmission identified.

Abarth 595 and 595C

Maintenance and repairs for the 1.4 T-Jet family, including Turismo, Competizione, Pista and Trofeo versions. We cover oil and timing-belt work, cooling, turbo faults, manual or MTA clutch concerns, and model-matched brake and suspension replacement.

Abarth 695 and 695C

Servicing and repairs for hatchback and cabrio versions, including Turismo, Competizione and Rivale. Brake, damper, exhaust and interior parts depend on the edition and fitted equipment, particularly when preserving an original performance setup.

Abarth F595

T-Jet engine servicing, cooling repairs, ignition work, clutch and gearbox attention, plus chassis repairs. Its Record Monza Sovrapposto exhaust and other version-specific equipment are considered when investigating noise or sourcing replacement parts.

Abarth 124 Spider

MultiAir engine maintenance, turbo and cooling repairs, six-speed manual or automatic gearbox work, and rear-wheel-drive running gear. Roof leaks, glass, seats and body repairs can be assessed alongside mechanical concerns.

Punto and older imports

For an Abarth Grande Punto, Punto Evo, older special edition or modified import, send the model year and requested work first. We check the engine, fitted equipment and parts availability before accepting the job or arranging your visit.

Electric Abarth 500e and 600e

Contact us about the specific work before booking an electric Abarth. The petrol service packages and engine repairs below do not apply to these cars. High-voltage battery, inverter and charging repairs need a separate capability check.

Abarth’s model specifications show why trim and market details matter. If your car has different wheels, suspension, a remap or an aftermarket exhaust, mention that when enquiring.

Choose your Abarth service

You can arrange routine maintenance, a repair for a specific fault, or several jobs during the same visit. These are the main areas of work available.

A service due by mileage is different from a repair for a new symptom. The price guide helps you budget for a defined job; the sections beneath it explain the options for your car.

Abarth service and repair prices

A routine oil service, a replacement battery and an engine rebuild have very different costs. Use the figures below to plan the type of work you need, then request a quote for your exact Abarth and parts choice.

All paid figures below include 5% VAT. The first two are published Dubai market benchmarks, not MyCarRepair offers. The engine-work ranges are our published general workshop estimates; they are not fixed prices for every Abarth configuration.

Oil and filter service

Market packages from
AED 359

One petrol vehicle, engine oil, a standard new oil filter and the service labour. This is a general Dubai starting benchmark. The oil approval, quantity and filter required for your T-Jet or MultiAir engine can change the price.

Starter-battery replacement

Market guide
AED 250–700

One replacement battery with fitting, a battery check and old-battery disposal. This published most-cars range appears on an Abarth battery-service page. Exact fitment matters; start-stop and premium battery types can cost more. It does not cover an EV traction battery.

Market references checked 30 September 2026: QARO’s oil-and-filter service and 800Battery’s Abarth battery page. These benchmarks help compare inclusions; MyCarRepair supplies its own vehicle-specific quotation.

Our published general repair estimates

RepairPublished estimate

Work and Abarth application
Timing belt or chain workAED 1,450–4,400Published multi-brand range for a belt or chain kit, tensioning components, fitting and timing. A petrol 595/695 needs a belt-specific quotation. Water-pump, coolant or additional repairs are identified separately.
Head-gasket repairAED 2,900–7,800General engine-repair estimate covering head removal, a warping check, the replacement gasket and coolant. Machining or damage to other components can change the agreed job.
Engine rebuildAED 14,500–39,000General rebuild estimate covering dismantling, required machining and replacement internal parts. Suitable only after assessing the engine; a local leak or ignition fault does not justify a rebuild.

These three ranges retain the amounts and VAT basis in our published engine-repair price guide. That guide covers different engines and makes, so it is budget context rather than a confirmed Abarth tariff. The written estimate identifies the parts, labour and any additional work for your car.

Need a price for brakes, a clutch, MTA work or AC repair? Send the model, year and job you have in mind. Brake equipment, gearbox type and the failed AC component materially change the total. Our initial inspection and fault-code scan are free; additional investigation is agreed separately.

Abarth servicing and maintenance

Start with what is due in your handbook and service record. We separate routine maintenance from worn parts or faults that need additional repair.

Oil service and routine checks

An oil service replaces the engine oil and filter with the specification and quantity required for the fitted engine. T-Jet and MultiAir applications must not be treated as interchangeable simply because both are 1.4-litre turbos.

Routine checks can identify fluid leaks, brake wear, tyre damage, battery weakness and other items worth addressing. Air and cabin filters are inspected for replacement needs; spark plugs are renewed when due or when their condition justifies it.

A more complete service

A major service builds on the oil service with the additional items due for that vehicle. It may include air and cabin filters, spark plugs and brake-fluid replacement. The job list should name what is being changed, so a package title never hides the difference between checking a component and replacing it.

Timing belt and water pump

Petrol 595 and 695 models have scheduled timing-belt maintenance. Where replacement is due, the work includes the applicable belt, tensioning components and timing procedure. A water pump, auxiliary belt or coolant replacement is included when required for the agreed job and identified in the estimate.

Age matters even if annual mileage is low. Use the schedule for the exact year and market rather than one interval for every Abarth. If the history is incomplete, bring the available invoices so overdue work can be distinguished from work already completed.

Keep a useful service record

Retain the invoice showing the oil specification and replaced parts. A dashboard service reset records neither the condition of a timing belt nor whether the scheduled work was carried out.

The 595/695 handbook explains the model’s time- and mileage-based requirements.

Engine, turbo and cooling repairs

If the car loses power, leaks oil or runs hot, the next step is a repair for that fault—not simply a larger service package.

Mechanical repair or rebuild

Localised leaks or ignition faults can often be addressed without major engine work. Confirmed internal damage may require dismantling, machining, rebuilding or a replacement engine. Those options depend on the condition of the engine and the availability of suitable parts.

For major damage, compare the fitted cost and included components of an engine repair or rebuild before choosing a replacement assembly.

Oil leaks and uneven running

Available work includes replacement of leaking seals or gaskets, ignition coils and spark plugs, and repair of confirmed intake, fuel or electrical faults. An external oil leak and oil consumption inside the engine require different remedies.

Turbo and boost faults

A split hose, intake leak or boost-control problem can cause poor acceleration without the turbocharger itself needing replacement. When the turbo is damaged, the repair also needs to address its oil supply, pipework and the reason for failure. Turbo type and related components vary between versions.

Radiator, pump and coolant leaks

Cooling repairs include leaking hoses, radiators, thermostats, water pumps and faulty fan operation. The system is refilled with suitable coolant after repair and checked for leaks and correct operation. A flush alone does not repair a failed hose or radiator.

Exhaust leaks and rattles

Loose mounts, a damaged section or a valve fault may be repairable without replacing the complete exhaust. Record Monza systems vary by year and version, so we assess the fitted system before choosing parts.

Overheating or an oil-pressure warning? Stop safely, switch off the engine and arrange assistance. Do not open a hot coolant cap or keep driving to see whether the warning clears.

Clutch and gearbox repairs

Abarth uses more than one kind of transmission. Matching the work to the gearbox avoids treating every automatic as an MTA or selling fluid replacement as a cure for mechanical wear.

Manual clutch and gearbox

For clutch slip, difficult selection or pedal-related noise, repairs can include the clutch kit, release components or the gearbox itself. Flywheel condition and any oil leak affecting the clutch are assessed while planning the job.

Clutch-kit replacement, flywheel replacement and internal gearbox repair are separate items. A gearbox oil service is maintenance; it cannot restore a worn clutch friction plate.

MTA robotised manual

Some 500, 595 and 695 versions automate a manual gearbox’s clutch and gear selection. Jerky take-up, failure to engage or dropping into neutral can involve clutch wear, the actuator, hydraulic supply or control faults.

The work may involve clutch replacement or a repair to the actuation system. Required diagnostic access, adjustment and relearning are checked before accepting that specific repair.

Six-speed automatic

Automatic versions of the 124 Spider and certain imported 500 Abarths use a conventional six-speed automatic. Leak repair, correct-fluid servicing, component repairs and overhaul are considered according to the fault and fitted gearbox.

The 124 Spider’s rear differential and driveline also need their own assessment when there is vibration, leakage or load-related noise. A front-wheel-drive hatchback package does not cover that work.

For internal damage, our gearbox repair service explains the larger repair options. Tell us whether the fault appears cold, hot, when pulling away or during a particular gear change.

Brakes, suspension and tyres

Restoring predictable braking and handling starts with the parts fitted to your car. Brembo brakes, Koni dampers, wheel sizes and previous suspension modifications can change both the repair and the cost.

Brake pads, discs and calipers

We replace worn pads and discs, address sticking or leaking calipers, and carry out brake-fluid work. Pads alone are suitable when the discs and other components remain serviceable. A pair of discs and a set of pads for one axle is a different job from replacing pads only.

When vibration or noise is the concern, brake inspection and repair establish whether the friction parts, caliper operation or another component needs attention.

Dampers, mounts and steering

Suspension and steering work includes worn dampers, top mounts, bushes, joints and wheel bearings. Replacing the worn component comes before alignment; alignment cannot remove looseness in a joint or restore a damaged damper.

Tyres, balancing and alignment

Tyre replacement addresses worn or damaged tyres, balancing addresses wheel-and-tyre imbalance, and alignment corrects wheel geometry. Uneven wear or a steering pull may need more than one of these jobs.

Wheel damage, spacers, lowering springs and non-standard tyre sizes affect the investigation. Let us know about those changes so the original specification is not used to order an unsuitable replacement.

AC, battery and electrical work

Mechanical repairs can be combined with the everyday faults that affect cooling, starting and cabin controls.

AC servicing and repairs

If airflow is weak, the cabin filter, blower or air distribution may need attention. If airflow is strong but warm, the refrigerant circuit, compressor operation and condenser cooling need a different assessment.

Work can include leak repair, replacement of a failed component and refrigerant recovery and charging to the vehicle’s specified quantity. A gas refill is suitable only when the system’s condition supports it; repeated refilling leaves an active leak unresolved.

Battery, alternator and starting

A flat battery may need replacement, but repeated discharge can also involve charging faults or unwanted current draw. We test the starting and charging systems before recommending a battery, alternator or wiring repair.

The replacement battery must suit the car’s dimensions, electrical demand and fitted start-stop system. A standard battery price does not automatically cover an EFB or AGM replacement.

Windows, sensors and warning messages

Window regulators, parking sensors, lights and wiring faults can be assessed individually. For key programming, manufacturer updates or protected coding, the required access is confirmed before the job is accepted.

Bodywork, glass and cabin repairs

Keep cosmetic work separate from mechanical repair when comparing costs, or arrange both during one workshop visit.

Panels, paint and glass

We handle damaged bumpers, body panels, paint repairs and replacement glass. A surface scratch may need a local repair; broken mounts or damage behind the panel can change the job. Special-edition trim and decals need matching before parts are ordered.

For accident damage, the body repair assessment separates visible damage from repairs discovered after dismantling. Restraint work and any required calibration must be confirmed separately.

Seats, trim and convertible concerns

Worn bolsters, split seams and damaged interior panels can be assessed for local repair or retrimming. Sports seats and their safety features need the appropriate materials and construction method.

Send a photograph for an initial discussion of seat and upholstery repairs. On 500C, 595C, 695 cabrio and 124 Spider models, a roof or water-leak problem should be addressed before replacing a damaged interior finish.

Your repair at My Car Repair

Discuss the job with our independent Al Quoz workshop, understand the parts and cost, and approve the work before it begins.

Start with a free initial check

The initial inspection and fault-code scan help identify the next step. Further electrical testing, pressure tests or dismantling are explained and agreed separately when needed. Bring the service history if you have it.

Choose the parts and repair

We explain available genuine or suitable alternative parts, the work included and the total before fitting. For a major assembly, the estimate identifies whether the supplied unit is new, rebuilt or used. Applicable parts and labour warranty terms are stated with the repair; they depend on the chosen job and parts.

Plan collection around the work

Routine work and a repair waiting for imported parts have different completion times. We discuss the expected workshop time and any parts delay. Pickup arrangements depend on your location and availability; an immobile car may need vehicle recovery instead of collection by a driver.

Know what was completed

Checks after repair follow the original concern, such as leak checks, fluid-level checks and operation tests. Keep the invoice with your service history and ask about any bedding-in, follow-up or outstanding maintenance recommendations.

Before you book

Send your model, year and the work you need. A short description or photograph is enough to start the conversation.

Are you an authorised Abarth dealer?

No. My Car Repair Dubai is an independent workshop operated by AMF Auto Services LLC. Manufacturer recalls, campaigns and warranty claims should be checked with the appropriate authorised network.

Can you quote from photographs?

Photographs can help with visible body, glass, trim or upholstery damage. Mechanical and electrical faults may need inspection before a repair price is reliable. We explain what can be priced in advance and what needs checking at the workshop.

Can you inspect a used Abarth?

Yes. Ask about a pre-purchase inspection for the specific car. Service history, fault-code findings, leaks, brakes, suspension, modifications and signs of previous repair can all affect the buying decision. An inspection describes the condition found; it cannot guarantee future reliability.

Can I bring a modified Abarth?

Send details of remaps, turbo, exhaust, wheel or suspension changes before booking. We assess the requested repair against the hardware fitted to the car and confirm parts availability and acceptance for specialist configurations.
