Know what to expect

Estimated wheel alignment costs in Al Quoz

The right service depends on your car’s suspension and the measurements. Balancing is priced separately from alignment.

Front axle

Front wheel alignment

AED 100–200

Front alignment checks and available adjustments where this is the appropriate service for the car. Rear readings may still be needed to set the front correctly.

Separate service

Four-wheel balancing

AED 120–240

Four-wheel set price for a standard sedan, including balancing weights and labor. Single-wheel balancing is AED 40–80. Larger or specialist wheels are quoted for your car.

All estimates include the stated service, labor and 5% VAT. Tires, suspension repairs, seized adjusters and any required steering-angle calibration are quoted separately. We confirm the final total for your car before work.

Start with what changed

A pull, a shake or uneven tire wear?

Those symptoms can have different causes. Tell us when they happen: at a certain speed, while braking, after a curb strike or since new tires were fitted.

01

It pulls left or right

Check tire pressures and condition, alignment readings and possible brake or suspension faults. A pull does not prove the alignment is wrong.

02

The steering wheel sits crooked

Check front and rear wheel direction and steering centering, especially after an impact or steering repair.

03

The steering wheel or seat vibrates

Wheel balance, tire damage and bent rims are possible causes. Vibration mainly while braking needs a brake inspection.

04

One tire edge wears faster

Inspect the wear pattern, pressures and suspension before adjustment. Alignment can help prevent further uneven wear; it cannot restore lost tread.

Understand the measurements

What the wheel angles tell us

The measurements help show whether the symptoms come from wheel geometry. Correct alignment does not mean every angle is zero. Each target range comes from the manufacturer’s specifications for your car.

Toe

Which way the wheels point

Viewed from above, toe describes whether the fronts of the tires point inward or outward. Incorrect toe can scrub the tread and contribute to an off-center steering wheel.

Front and rear readings matter. The technician uses the specified range rather than simply making the wheels look straight.

View from the front · angles exaggerated

Camber

How the wheel leans

Viewed from the front, camber is the inward or outward lean of the wheel. Excessive camber can contribute to uneven wear on a tire’s inner or outer edge.

Some cars do not have a routine camber adjustment. An out-of-range reading may need investigation for wear, ride-height changes or damaged parts.

Caster

The tilt of the steering axis

Viewed from the side, caster describes the steering axis, not the tire’s lean. It influences straight-line stability and how the steering returns after a turn.

Adjustment is vehicle-dependent. A reading outside specification should be explained, especially after a curb impact or suspension damage.

Two different jobs

Alignment or balancing?

Alignment adjusts wheel angles. The technician uses the car’s steering or suspension adjusters to correct the geometry that affects steering direction and tire contact with the road.

Balancing corrects uneven rotating weight. Small weights are fitted where the balancing machine indicates. Balancing is needed when a tire is mounted or remounted on its wheel, and when an imbalance causes vibration.

You may need one, both or another repair

A balanced wheel can still be out of alignment. A correctly aligned car can still shake because of a tire, rim or mechanical problem. We check the symptom before recommending the service.

Before, during & after

What happens at your alignment visit

A useful result starts before the adjusters are touched. The tires, steering and suspension need to be suitable for alignment.

  1. 01

    Check the car

Discuss the symptom, check tire pressures and wear, and inspect for steering or suspension play that could affect the result.

  2. 02

    Measure the angles

Use the correct vehicle specifications and compare the readings. Explain which adjustments or repairs are needed and confirm the price.

  3. 03

    Adjust with approval

Make the agreed, permitted adjustments. If a seized adjuster or damaged part prevents the work, discuss the next step with you.

  4. 04

    Recheck the result

Recheck the measurements and steering position. Discuss any remaining concern and whether further inspection is needed.

Before you leave

We explain your before-and-after readings

We compare the measured angles with your car’s allowed range, show what changed and explain any reading still outside specification. If an angle cannot be adjusted, we tell you why and what, if anything, needs attention. Some cars also need a steering-angle sensor reset after adjustment so their stability systems recognise the correct straight-ahead position. The manufacturer’s procedure determines whether this applies.

Get the order right

Fix worn parts before alignment.

Loose tie rods, worn control-arm bushings or damaged suspension parts can make alignment readings unreliable. Adjusting around a fault will not repair it.

If we find a problem, we explain the repair and estimate before proceeding. Alignment follows any approved repair that changes the wheel geometry.

Tell us about lowered suspension, air suspension, aftermarket wheels or a recent impact when you call. The setup and available adjustments can differ.

Call ahead. Get the right service.

Coming from Al Barsha, Umm Suqeim or Business Bay? Call before setting off to confirm availability and describe the problem. We can discuss whether to start with alignment, balancing or an inspection.

How long does alignment take?

A straightforward alignment often takes around an hour. Inspection, seized components or repairs can add time. We confirm the expected duration for your car when arranging the visit.

What should I send on WhatsApp?

Your car’s make, model and year, the symptom and any recent tire or suspension work. A photo of uneven tire wear can help the team understand your concern.

Pickup and drop-off can be discussed by arrangement. An unsafe car needs suitable recovery.

Before your visit

Your wheel alignment questions

How much is wheel alignment in Al Quoz?

Estimated costs are AED 100–200 for front alignment and AED 200–350 for four-wheel alignment. Your car’s suspension, required adjustments and any repairs affect the quote. These estimates include 5% VAT. We confirm the work and final total before starting.

Do I need two-wheel or four-wheel alignment?

It depends on your vehicle’s suspension design and the readings, not just whether it has two- or four-wheel drive. All four wheels may need measuring even when only the front has routine adjustment. We explain the appropriate service for your car.

Is wheel balancing included in alignment?

No, they are separate jobs unless your quote specifically includes both. Alignment adjusts the wheel angles; balancing corrects weight distribution around each wheel-and-tire assembly. When both are needed, our standard four-wheel combination is estimated at AED 320–550 including VAT.

Do new tires need alignment?

New tires need balancing when fitted. An alignment check is sensible, particularly if the old tires wore unevenly, the steering wheel is off-center or the car pulls. Adjustment is needed when the readings or symptoms justify it.

How often should I check wheel alignment?

Follow your vehicle’s maintenance guidance and check it when symptoms appear, after a significant curb or pothole impact, or after suspension work that affects wheel geometry. There is no universal need to realign every two or three months.

Why does my car still pull after alignment?

Unequal tire pressures, tire damage or construction, brake drag and suspension faults can also cause a pull. Road slope can influence how a car tracks. Persistent pulling needs a recheck of the complaint and relevant components, not repeated adjustment without diagnosis.

Can alignment fix a bent rim or worn tire?

No. It cannot straighten a damaged wheel, replace missing tread or repair a loose suspension joint. Those problems need their own assessment. We explain any required tire, wheel or suspension work before alignment.
