Repair and service for your Porsche

Find your model family below. The model, year and fitted equipment help us agree the right work.

911, Boxster and Cayman

Confirm the generation, engine and manual, Tiptronic or PDK gearbox. Cabriolet roof and water ingress are assessed separately.

Service inclusions

Cayenne and petrol Macan

Petrol Macan uses PDK, while many Cayennes use Tiptronic. Identify steel springs, air suspension and adaptive dampers before choosing parts.

Brakes and suspension

Panamera and E-Hybrid

Exact powertrain and chassis equipment guide the work. Engine maintenance is separate from high-voltage battery and charging repairs.

Gearbox and drivetrain

Taycan and electric SUVs

Taycan, Macan Electric and Cayenne Electric use electric drive systems. Confirm capability for the specific job before booking.

Discuss your model

Classic, GT, limited-production and high-voltage work need an individual capability check.

Porsche service and repair price guidance

Use these ranges to plan the visit. Your quote identifies the fitted equipment, parts, labour and required setup. PDK work, extensive body damage and high-voltage repairs need their own assessment.

General workshop estimates including 5% VAT. These are planning figures, not fixed Porsche package prices.
WorkEstimated fitted costWhat to compare

Premium brake padsAED 300–1,500One axlePad set and fitting. Discs, sensors and specialised brake packages are separate. Ceramic systems need an individual quotation.
AGM or premium 12V batteryAED 750–1,600+One batteryNew battery with basic fitting. Confirm the actual battery type. Access, registration or other electrical repairs may add cost.
Air spring or air strutAED 1,800–5,000+One new replacementQuality replacement, fitting, leak checks and required setup. Genuine and adaptive assemblies can exceed this guide.
Initial fault diagnosisAED 150–350Agreed initial checksRelevant scanning and targeted checks. Extended testing, dismantling and repairs are quoted separately.
Engine rebuildingAED 14,500–39,000General complete-job guideStrip-down, required machining and replacement internal parts. Porsche engine type, damage and access can put the final quote outside this general range.

Compare the complete repair, not only the part price. Initial visual assessment is free. Agree any testing or dismantling before it increases the bill.

What to include in your Porsche service

Build the service list from the applicable maintenance schedule, mileage, time and previous invoices. An oil change and a major service do not include the same work.

Technician checking engine oil in a workshop

Oil specification and quantity must suit the engine. Electronic level checks follow the vehicle’s required procedure where there is no dipstick.

Oil and filter
Correct oil approval, quantity and filter. Inspect for leaks and renew the drain seal or plug where needed.
Condition checks
Agree checks for tyres, brakes, visible leaks, battery and fluid levels. Low fluid may indicate a repair need rather than a routine top-up.
Items due separately
Air and cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid and coolant follow the applicable schedule. Gearbox and final-drive fluids have their own requirements.
Service records
The invoice records completed work and recommendations. Reset the service indicator only for work performed. Manufacturer digital-history entry is confirmed separately.

Choose the right gearbox and drivetrain work

Select the transmission fitted to your car. Not every Porsche uses PDK, and a fluid change does not resolve every shift or drive fault.

Choose your transmission type

PDK service and repair

A PDK is a dual-clutch gearbox. A scheduled fluid service, a control fault and worn clutch components are different jobs.

  • Identify the gearbox and fluid circuit. The specified fluid, filter and level procedure must match that unit.
  • For slipping, judder or a warning, assess faults and road behaviour before choosing control repair, internal work or replacement.

Tiptronic and manual transmission work

Tiptronic is a conventional automatic, while a manual gearbox has a separate clutch arrangement. Neither should be priced as a PDK service.

  • For Tiptronic, distinguish a fluid service from hydraulic, electronic or internal repairs.
  • For a manual, assess clutch operation, hydraulics and any flywheel concern. Compare the complete fitted job.

Electric drive and hybrid-system work

Macan Electric uses single-speed drive gearing. Taycan has a different drive arrangement. Electric and hybrid work must be identified by model and task.

  • Brake, tyre, body and low-voltage jobs are separate from high-voltage battery, charging and drive-unit repairs.
  • Confirm workshop capability, equipment and required software access before accepting specialist work.
Technician inspecting a removed automatic gearbox pan and filter

A gearbox inspection can reveal different work from a scheduled service. Parts and repair choices are agreed from the findings.

Porsche engine and cooling repairs

From a coolant leak to internal engine damage, the findings determine the repair route.

  1. 01

    Repair the affected component

A confirmed leak, ignition fault or cooling-system problem may need a local repair. Include seals, fluids and final checks.

  2. 02

    Assess internal damage

Agree dismantling first. Measurements of the block, heads and internal parts determine machining and replacement needs.

  3. 03

    Compare a replacement engine

Where suitable, compare used, remanufactured and new assemblies. Check compatibility, condition, warranty and the complete fitted cost.

Overheating, a red oil-pressure warning or severe sudden engine noise? Stop safely, switch off and call before continuing.

Brakes, tyres and suspension

Use the concern to choose the right checks. Braking problems and ride faults need different repair plans.

Brakes and wheels

Suspension and steering

What we check

Pads, discs, sensors, tyre condition and wheel damage.

Arms, bushes, joints, dampers and steering components.

What changes the job

Steel, coated or ceramic brakes. Staggered tyre sizes and the fitted brake package.

Steel springs, air suspension and adaptive damping. Active systems need confirmed setup access.

Before replacement

Check mechanical play before alignment. ABS and parking-brake faults need their own diagnosis.

Trace air leaks and pressure faults before replacing a compressor. Confirm required height and chassis setup.

AC, electrical and bodywork

Arrange these jobs alongside maintenance, with each item clearly identified in the estimate.

Cabin cooling

AC and airflow repairs

Pressure, airflow and leak checks distinguish a recharge from a repair. Cabin filters, blowers and compressors are separate jobs. Electrified cars may require a different procedure.

Porsche AC work at our garage

A Porsche cooling concern was assessed through refrigerant-pressure and compressor checks before the repair decision.

Battery and electrical
Test the low-voltage supply. Match battery chemistry and required registration. Starting, wiring, lighting and window faults are assessed separately.
Bodywork and glass
Agree panel repair or replacement and the paint area. Match glass to the fitted sensors. Structural, camera and restraint damage needs defined checks and setup.
Interior and finishing
Leather, upholstery and trim work depends on material and colour. Discuss polishing or protection after inspection. Confirm modification compatibility and required approvals.

Questions before booking your Porsche repair

Can you work on my exact Porsche model?

Contact us with its model, year and required job. Routine mechanical, electrical and body work can be discussed first. Classic, limited-production, high-voltage and protected software tasks need an individual capability check.

Does every Porsche need the same oil service?

No. Engine oil approval, quantity, filter and level procedure vary. We use the applicable maintenance requirements and your service history to agree the list.

Can a gearbox oil change fix judder?

A scheduled fluid service and a fault repair are different. Judder can involve controls, clutches, internal parts or other drivetrain components. Assess the concern before treating a service as the repair.

Do you provide a fixed repair price before inspection?

General ranges help you plan. The written quotation follows the agreed checks and identifies the actual parts and work. Additional testing or dismantling is agreed separately.

How long will the visit take?

The repair and parts availability determine the timing. A routine service differs from internal engine work or an imported part order. We discuss workshop time and any waiting period once the job is defined.
