Choose the problem you need resolved

Choose the right repair for your Mercedes

Select the concern to see the relevant checks and repair choices. Gearbox and major engine decisions follow below, so routine work and larger repairs are easy to compare.

Choose your Mercedes repair concern

Resolve engine warnings, leaks and overheating concerns

  • Engine light
  • Coolant loss
  • Rough running
Identify the fault
  • Read supported fault data and test ignition, fuel delivery, air/boost plumbing and oil leaks. A stored code alone does not prove a part has failed.
  • Trace coolant loss with appropriate pressure checks. Inspect hoses, thermostat, pump, radiator, fans and circulation before selecting repair or a coolant service.
Agree the repair
  • Replace confirmed seals, hoses, sensors, ignition or cooling parts. Petrol, diesel, turbo and hybrid engines need their own specifications.
  • Investigate timing noise or persistent oil use separately. Compression or internal-engine tests are added when the findings justify them.

Stop safely for overheating, oil-pressure warnings, severe misfire or serious mechanical noise. Do not open a hot coolant cap or keep driving to test the fault.

Check braking and ride height before replacing parts

  • Brake vibration
  • Low ride height
  • Steering noise
Brakes, tyres and steering
  • Measure pads and discs, check sensors, calipers and fluid condition. Disc skimming is suitable only when condition and minimum thickness permit it.
  • Inspect tyres, wheel damage, bearings, joints, bushes, dampers and steering. Match tyre ratings, TPMS and any run-flat requirements. Rotation depends on sizes and direction.
AIRMATIC and other ride systems
  • For a low corner or slow lifting, inspect the fitted air system for leaks, compressor operation, valves, height sensors and electrical faults.
  • Conventional springs, AIRMATIC, ABC and E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL need different checks. Agree the failed component, fitment and any supported setup before replacement.

Do not drive with reduced braking, a tyre losing pressure or suspension too low for safe clearance. Wheel alignment follows correction of worn or damaged parts.

Separate cabin cooling faults from power supply problems

  • Warm AC
  • Battery warning
  • Intermittent faults
Air conditioning
  • Check airflow, cabin filter, refrigerant specification, pressures and leaks. Recharge, compressor or evaporator repair follows the confirmed cause.
  • Assess uneven cooling, blower and climate-control operation. Repeated gas top-ups do not repair a leak.
Battery, modules and wiring
  • Test the main 12V battery, charging supply, connections and unwanted current draw. Confirm any auxiliary battery or 48V system before work.
  • Match replacement battery type and capacity. Required registration, adaptations, coding, key-related work or module programming are confirmed for the vehicle and available access.

Send the exact dashboard message and when it appears. A weak low-voltage supply can produce several warnings, but each remaining fault still needs checking.

Choose the repair before ordering assemblies

Compare engine and gearbox work before approving repairs

Fluid maintenance and internal repair solve different problems. A shift jolt or engine rattle needs a defined cause and a complete estimate before expensive parts are ordered.

7G-TRONIC, 9G-TRONIC and other gearboxes

Checks before approvalConfirm the fitted conventional automatic, dual-clutch, manual or AMG transmission. Check leaks, fluid condition, engagement and supported control data.

Complete estimateCompare fluid service or external repair with valve-body/mechatronic work, overhaul or replacement. Include removal, seals, filter/pan, fluid and required setup.

Timing, oil use and internal engine work

Checks before approvalIdentify the engine and timing system. Review service history, noise and oil consumption, then agree pressure, compression or further tests when appropriate.

Complete estimateCompare component repair, machining/rebuild or a compatible replacement. Itemise parts, labour, related worn components, fluids and post-repair checks.

A fluid change cannot restore worn internal parts. Confirm any strip-down charge, special-order terms and repair warranty before authorising the next stage.

Maintenance matched to the car

Understand what your Mercedes Service A/B should include

Bring a photo of the ASSYST or ASSYST PLUS message and your last service invoice. The A/B label is the starting point. Time, mileage, model requirements and work already completed determine the actual checklist.

Scheduled maintenance

Service A for oil and routine condition checks

  • Plan the required oil and filter work for a combustion engine, with specified fluid levels and condition checks.
  • Inspect brakes, tyres, battery and visible leaks. Record findings and reset completed service items only.

An oil change alone may leave other due items outstanding. Electric Mercedes models have a different maintenance checklist.

Wider service requirements

Service B with broader inspections and due items

  • Use the model-specific checklist for the broader inspection. Confirm air/cabin filters, brake fluid, plugs or fuel-filter work when due.
  • Check transmission, cooling and 4MATIC driveline requirements separately. Add maintenance items from the schedule and history, rather than a fixed mileage bundle.

Leaks, worn brakes, tyres and fault diagnosis are separate unless the estimate includes them.

For a maintenance-only visit, review scheduled Mercedes servicing. Request the itemised checklist and total before booking.

Identify the car before choosing parts

Match the work to your Mercedes model

We discuss repairs for daily drivers, SUVs, AMG and older Mercedes vehicles. Send the VIN, model year and mileage, plus any modifications or previous repair records.

Compact and executive
A-Class, B-Class, CLA, C-Class, CLE, E-Class and CLS. Year, petrol/diesel/hybrid engine and gearbox matter more than a familiar badge or trim name.
SUVs and G-Class
GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLS and earlier GLK, ML and GL models. Confirm 4MATIC and the fitted ride system. G500/G63 work is matched to the actual generation.
AMG, Maybach and older cars
S-Class, Maybach, AMG GT, SL, SLC/SLK, CLK and earlier platforms. Brake packages, cooling, comfort electronics and modified equipment are checked individually.
Electric, hybrid and vans
EQA, EQB, EQC, EQE and EQS families, EQ SUVs, plug-in hybrids, V-Class, Vito and Sprinter. Share the powertrain and concern so workshop capability and parts can be confirmed.
Agree fitment and the finished result

Choose parts and body repairs for your Mercedes

Choose parts with the correct fitment

Agree the supplied part and finished job.

  • Compare genuine Mercedes-Benz, suitable OE-supplier or aftermarket options. Confirm brand, part number, availability and compatibility from the VIN.
  • Used or reconditioned assemblies need condition and warranty terms. Include fitting, seals, fluids, supported coding/calibration and supplier lead time in the quote.

Plan body, paint and glass repairs

Assess visible damage and related equipment.

  • Compare repair or replacement for panels, bumpers and damaged fittings. Assess structural and restraint-system concerns after a collision.
  • Match paint and glass specifications. Identify cameras, sensors, roof mechanisms and any required calibration before approving the complete job.

Detailing, colour changes, upholstery, tinting, rim protection and modifications are separate options. Mention MYCAR10 for the existing 10% car-wash offer and confirm its conditions when booking.

Questions about Mercedes repairs and workshop visits

Useful answers before you approve or arrange work.

How much does Mercedes repair cost in Dubai?

Standard workshop guides include AED 200–600 for specified oil and filter work, AED 250–500 for standard brake pads fitted per axle and AED 150–350 for initial diagnosis. All include 5% VAT. AMG or specialist parts, larger quantities and actual fault repairs are quoted separately.

When should I book Mercedes Service A or B?

Follow the service display and requirements for the exact model, year and market. Send the ASSYST message, mileage and last service record. Do not use one fixed mileage interval or assume every A/B visit contains the same filters, fluids or replacement parts.

Can I drive with an AIRMATIC warning?

Ride height, clearance and the message matter. Stop safely if the car is too low, handling changes or driving is unsafe, and arrange suitable recovery. Do not repeatedly operate the ride-height controls to overcome a suspected leak or compressor fault.

Will gearbox oil cure jerking or slipping?

Only when the confirmed cause and transmission procedure support fluid service. Worn internal parts, control faults or a failed component need their own repair. Agree the fluid specification, quantity, filter/pan requirements and any supported adaptations before treating an oil change as the solution.

Can you carry out Mercedes coding and programming?

Describe the required function and send the VIN. Diagnostic access, module compatibility, security authorisation and online functions differ between vehicles. The team confirms supported scanning, resets, adaptations, coding or programming before quoting. A general scan does not establish access to every Mercedes function.

Do you repair electric and plug-in hybrid Mercedes?

Send the model, powertrain and exact concern before booking. Brakes, tyres or bodywork are assessed separately from charging, high-voltage battery and electric-drive faults. Safe procedures, tools, diagnostic access and available parts must be confirmed for the requested work.

How long will the job take and what warranty applies?

Completion depends on testing, access, parts delivery and any calibration. Ask for the expected timeline and covered parts/labour, duration or mileage limits and exclusions in writing. For manufacturer warranty, dealer service packages or VIN-specific recalls, confirm eligibility with an authorised Mercedes-Benz centre.

Is pickup and the first inspection free?

The initial visual assessment is free. Scanning and targeted diagnosis are separately priced. Discuss any free collection offer and its conditions for booked work, including location, access and availability. A Mercedes that cannot safely roll, steer or brake needs suitable recovery with loading and transport charges agreed.

What happens after an accident or insurance claim?

Prioritise safety and the required local reporting process. Share the report, insurance details and damage photos. The workshop discusses assessment and the complete estimate, while coverage and repair authorisation depend on the insurer and policy. Do not drive with suspected structural, braking or restraint-system damage.

Can you inspect a used Mercedes before purchase?

Agree checks of engine and gearbox behaviour, leaks, cooling, brakes, tyres, suspension, electronics and accessible accident damage. Include roof or ride-height operation when fitted and charging concerns on hybrids or EVs. Ask for written findings and inspection limits. Any road test requires permission and safe condition.
