Identify the fitted specification
XE, XF and F-PACE can differ by engine, drivetrain, brake hardware and model year. F-TYPE performance equipment needs its own fitment check. I-PACE is electric and follows a separate support path.
Independent Jaguar repair in Al Quoz
An XE warning light, an F-PACE cooling leak, an F-TYPE brake concern and an I-PACE charging warning require different repair plans. We identify the build and investigate the symptom before recommending parts.
Share the model, year and symptoms. We explain the first checks and agree the work before fitting parts.

Begin with a clear diagnostic limit
Tell us the model, year and warning or symptom. A low coolant alert and a warm cabin vent require separate checks. A gearbox jolt may involve the engine or a mount. We can request the VIN and fitted specification when they are needed for parts. We agree the diagnostic stage before work starts.
XE, XF and F-PACE can differ by engine, drivetrain, brake hardware and model year. F-TYPE performance equipment needs its own fitment check. I-PACE is electric and follows a separate support path.
We combine appropriate scan results with visual, pressure, electrical or mechanical checks. A fault code identifies a system or condition to test and does not by itself prove a part has failed.
We explain findings, options, parts condition, labor, 5% VAT, lead time, any programming and warranty. More work after dismantling needs another approval.
Know the scope behind the number
These are planning estimates for compatible conventional work at our Al Quoz workshop, including the named parts, labor and 5% VAT. Engine capacity, brake specification, performance trim, age and additional damage can change the written quote. Electric and major mechanical work is priced after a supported assessment.
After a free accessible visual look. The agreed scan and first checks are included. Extended electrical tracing or disassembly is separate.
Correct oil specification, quantity, compatible filter and fitting. Plugs, other filters, coolant and leak repairs are separate.
Two-wheel axle pad set and fitting for suitable conventional hardware. Discs, wear sensors, calipers and performance brakes are separate.
Two compatible discs, pad set and fitting. Sensor replacement and electronic service procedures may affect the final specification.
Leak, fan, compressor, hose, thermostat or control work depends on the diagnosis and fitted component.
Confirm the unit, safe service access and parts availability before committing to a repair procedure.
What to compareAsk whether the figure covers one or both axles, sensor and fluid needs, programming, calibration, road validation and 5% VAT. A scan fee is not a complete engine or transmission repair cost.
Typical job estimates
Each scenario is an estimated conventional job, not a completed customer repair or a fixed quote. Totals include the named parts, fitting and 5% VAT. Performance hardware, additional damage and model-specific procedures can change the written price.
2021 Jaguar XE petrol
AED 750Estimated total with VATCorrect specified engine oil quantity, compatible filter, fitting and a leak check. Plugs, extra filters and leak repairs are outside this example.
2020 Jaguar F-PACE
AED 1,100Estimated total with VATConventional pad set for both front wheels, fitting and a suitable final check. Discs, wear sensors, calipers and performance brakes are separate.
2019 Jaguar XF
AED 2,450Estimated total with VATTwo compatible conventional discs, a front pad set, fitting and a road check where safe. Sensor replacement and a different brake specification need a new quote.
The model name is only the beginning
Jaguar documentation covers multiple engines and optional equipment across model years. A four cylinder Ingenium petrol, a six cylinder, a supercharged V8 and an electric I-PACE cannot share one service schedule or brake estimate. E-PACE and older XJ or XK examples also need a year and support check. We confirm the actual VIN and fitted hardware.
For sedans, clarify engine, drive layout and gearbox. Rough running, coolant loss, electronic warnings, brakes and front suspension each require different evidence.
The SUV can have varied engines and chassis equipment. Identify brake size, all wheel drive and optional systems before pricing a vibration, ride or fluid concern.
Performance engines, cooling and braking vary widely. Match the VIN, trim and fitted disc and caliper before using any standard pad or service price.
A battery electric vehicle with charging, 12-volt, traction, climate and regenerative braking systems. Check equipment and support before accepting high-voltage work.
Jaguar iGuide owner information provides model and year-specific documentation. See our Jaguar XE and Jaguar service pages for narrower questions.
Separate the engine families
A misfire, low power or coolant loss should be reproduced and measured. Petrol and diesel equipment vary by market and year. We identify the engine, read current and stored faults, inspect leaks and running data, then agree any pressure, compression or mechanical work. A code does not justify replacing a turbo or cooling assembly without evidence.
Note cold starts, acceleration, idle and recent fuel or service changes. Air, ignition, fuel delivery, boost and mechanical condition may need separate checks based on the fitted engine. Diesel aftertreatment is assessed only where fitted.
A low coolant warning can come from an external leak or another fault. Inspect the system and test pressure and fan behavior as appropriate. Continued overheating may cause further engine damage, so fix the cause first.
Record shift timing, load and temperature. A mount, engine running fault, driveline issue or transmission fault can all change how a shift feels. We identify the actual unit and suitable procedure before fluid or assembly work.

Brake and ride feel need measurements
A squeal, steering shimmy, pulsing brake pedal or low ride height can have different causes. We check the tires and wheel, pad and disc condition, calipers, hydraulic system and suspension joints. Optional electronic systems require the correct service procedure.

Measure pads and discs and inspect wear sensors, hardware and caliper movement. A one axle pad quote does not include a second axle, discs or a performance system unless stated.
Check tire condition, wheel fitment, brake drag, hubs, steering and suspension before alignment. A pulsing pedal may direct attention to disc condition, but the actual cause is measured.
Inspect dampers, arms, bushings, wheel bearings and optional air suspension where fitted. After front-end or windshield repairs, identify fitted driver assistance systems and whether calibration is required. Structural or aluminum body damage needs an approved repair route rather than a cosmetic estimate.
See brake repair and Jaguar suspension repair for their individual scopes.
Do not treat every heat complaint alike
If engine temperature rises or coolant is escaping, stop safely. If the engine temperature is normal but the cabin stays warm, start with ventilation and AC controls. We test the relevant circuit before a replacement quote and verify the result after the agreed repair.
Check for visible leaks, pressure loss, coolant circulation, radiator condition, fan command and thermostat behavior. Confirm whether overheating has harmed the engine. A new expansion tank or hose does not finish the job if the original cause remains.
Assess airflow, cabin filter, blend controls, compressor command, refrigerant pressures and leaks. Refrigerant is filled by the specification for the exact car. I-PACE climate and battery thermal systems need separate supported procedures.
The focused Jaguar AC repair page helps with warm vent symptoms. Contact us promptly about rising engine temperature.
Electric vehicle acceptance comes first
I-PACE has high-voltage propulsion and charging, a separate 12-volt system, regenerative braking and model-specific thermal management. We can review the VIN and symptom, then confirm suitable information, equipment, specialist support and parts supply for the exact work before accepting it. We do not treat a no-start as proof of traction battery failure. Ask the responsible Jaguar provider to check any active VIN campaign before paid work on the same issue.
Tell us the charge level, AC or DC charger, connector and warning text. Say whether a 12-volt issue appeared first. A no-start does not prove traction battery failure.
Do not handle damaged charging equipment or orange cables. A collision near the battery calls for a specialist safety assessment before routine repair work.
Friction brakes, tires and suspension still need inspection. Optional air suspension needs ride-height and leak checks. High-voltage isolation and battery component repairs proceed only through a confirmed supported route.
Use Jaguar iGuide for your model year and check active VIN recalls with the manufacturer for applicable markets.

Make routine work and coverage clear
Oil service is based on the engine and manufacturer specification, not a generic premium oil label. Filters, plugs, brake fluid, coolant and transmission work follow the correct model year schedule and observed condition. An I-PACE does not need a petrol oil service, but it still has scheduled maintenance items.
Confirm the exact oil approval and quantity, filters and due inspections. We itemize service items and keep a fault investigation separate from routine work. We check the model-year maintenance information instead of promising a single mileage interval for all engines.
We explain measured wear or a leak, what should be repaired now and what can be monitored. Added dismantling, parts or calibration need approval.
Keep the work description, fitted part details and written warranty. If manufacturer warranty, an extended plan or a recall may apply, check with the responsible Jaguar provider before paid work on the same issue.

Beyond the powertrain
A cluster of warnings after a flat battery, an intermittent camera message and a post-collision steering pull are different jobs. We record what failed, what was disturbed and which service procedures the actual vehicle requires.
Test battery condition, charging or DC conversion as appropriate, terminals, grounds and relevant fault history before replacing a module. Confirm whether a software update, programming or paired component is required and supported. An infotainment reset is not a repair for an underlying supply fault.
Check for wheel, suspension and brake damage after an impact. Aluminum structural repair and paint warranty may require a Jaguar approved body route. Fitted camera or radar systems may need calibration after glass or front-end work. We explain referral and its cost boundary before committing to repair.
Jaguar describes its approved body and paint network. Work and coverage depend on the VIN and market.
Choose the part with the procedure
A wear sensor, matched brake disc, programmed module or I-PACE component can change the complete job. We check the VIN and existing part, then compare suitable options by fitted total, supply time and written coverage before ordering.
Compare genuine and suitable named aftermarket parts when available. Used or reconditioned assemblies require their condition, matching numbers and support needs to be clear. Performance and EV parts may offer fewer alternatives.
Include labor, 5% VAT, fluids, sensors, programming, calibration and verification. A cheaper part with excluded procedures or an uncertain fit is a different proposal.
Confirm whether the item is in local supply or needs ordering, and record part and labor warranty terms. Check active manufacturer or extended coverage and applicable recalls with Jaguar before paying for the same issue.
For parts details see Jaguar spare parts. Ask the Al Quoz workshop for a VIN-based estimate.
Questions before booking
Use these answers to understand the first check, estimate and approval point for your vehicle.
A compatible scan with defined first checks is generally AED 250–500. A suitable petrol oil and filter service is estimated at AED 400–950 and conventional pads on one axle at AED 500–1,400. These planning ranges include the stated work and 5% VAT. Major mechanical or electric work needs a vehicle-specific quote.
We can assess these models after checking year, engine, VIN, drivetrain and fitted equipment. An F-TYPE performance brake or older Jaguar assembly may need a different part and procedure from a standard sedan.
A fault code shows a system or condition to investigate. We compare it with symptoms, data and appropriate mechanical or electrical checks before recommending a component.
No. Engine running, mounts and driveline condition can affect how a shift feels. We identify the fitted transmission, operating conditions and fault data before choosing a service or repair.
Stop safely for rising temperature or major coolant loss. Do not open a hot cap. The leak or circulation fault needs repair and temperature verification before normal driving.
Airflow, cabin controls, compressor command, refrigerant pressures and leaks can cause warm air. A refill alone is not a cure for an active leak or electrical fault.
Pad and disc wear, hardware, calipers, tires and suspension can contribute. We measure the fitted axle and explain whether pads, discs or another repair is justified.
We can review the VIN, warning and charge behavior. High-voltage, battery and charging repairs are accepted only after safe service information, equipment, specialist support and parts availability are confirmed.
No. I-PACE is battery electric. It still needs appropriate brake, tire, cabin, cooling and other scheduled checks under the model-year owner information.
We compare genuine, suitable named aftermarket and appropriate reconditioned options where available. Fitment, programming, fitted cost, timing and written warranty are explained before ordering.
Ask us when you contact the workshop. Availability, location, timing and any cost are confirmed before a collection or return is arranged.
We check the 12-volt supply, connections, charging or DC conversion as applicable and fault history before naming a failed module. Software or programming work needs a confirmed supported procedure.
We can assess the symptom and explain the supported scope. Structural aluminum body work may need a Jaguar approved body route. Driver assistance calibration depends on fitted equipment and the repair performed.
An accessible initial visual assessment is free. A compatible scan with defined first checks is generally AED 250–500 including 5% VAT. Extended tracing is separately agreed.
Call to discuss the work, or send the model, year, VIN if available and symptoms on WhatsApp. We’ll help you arrange the assessment and explain the next step. The initial visual assessment is free. Chargeable diagnosis and repairs are agreed separately.
