A dented bumper may need a local repair; a harder impact can damage the parts behind it. Our Al Quoz body shop assesses the damage, explains what can be repaired and gives you a written estimate before work starts.
Just had an accident in Dubai? Report the accident and keep the police report for your insurer and repairer. Minor accidents without injuries can be reported through the Dubai Police app. Call 999 if anyone is injured or there is an emergency.

Deal with immediate safety first, then report the accident and contact your insurer. Keep the report and photographs together for the repair assessment.

Switch on hazard lights. If anyone is hurt, call 999 straight away and follow police instructions.
For minor accidents without injuries, use the Dubai Police app and follow its instructions. Call 901 for non-emergency reporting assistance or 999 for an emergency.
Once you are in a safe place, photograph the vehicles, visible damage and number plates. Do not stand in traffic to take pictures.
Keep the report sent by the police and your claim reference. Your insurer will explain which documents to submit.
Do not continue driving with fluid leaks, deployed airbags, damaged wheels, loose bodywork or altered steering or braking. If roadworthiness is uncertain, arrange recovery.

Insurance claimsYour insurer confirms the approved amount. Ask about your excess and any costs it will not cover.
Equipment and paint finishSensor-equipped bumpers, special paint finishes and severe damage need an individual estimate. The major-repair range is not a maximum price.
Free inspectionWe inspect the damage and give you a written estimate before any work.
Ask whether the estimate includes removing and refitting trim, replacement clips, paint blending, diagnostic scans and any required calibration. If dismantling reveals more damage, the additional work and cost need approval before it proceeds.
The police report records the accident. Your insurer separately confirms cover, the repairer it will accept and any amount you must pay. Check these before authorising work.
Send us your report on WhatsApp ↗Submit the police report and requested documents. Ask which insurer will handle the claim and keep its reference number.
Ask about own-damage cover, any excess and costs outside the approved repair. A police report alone does not confirm payment.
Check whether your policy requires a dealer or a garage from an approved network. Ask the insurer to confirm this workshop before booking an insurance repair.
Keep copies of the report, insurer approval and final invoice. We can discuss the repair estimate; claim acceptance remains the insurer’s decision.
A bumper can spring back while brackets or parts behind it remain damaged. The checks depend on the impact and equipment fitted to your car. Select an area to see what may need attention.
Tap or focus an area
A front impact can damage bumper mounts, the crash bar, lights or cooling parts. Where cameras or radar are fitted, their mounts and the manufacturer’s calibration requirements also matter.
Damage can reach the radiator, AC condenser, bonnet latch and headlamp mounts. Leaks, latch operation and panel fit need checking before the car returns to use.
A side impact can affect the door structure, hinges, glass mechanism, wiring and fitted restraints. Door operation, seals and disturbed electrical functions need checking after repair.
A kerb or side impact may damage a tyre, wheel or suspension part. Bent components need assessment before wheel alignment; alignment alone does not repair them.
Damage may involve structural pillars, bonded glass and a camera behind the windscreen. Glass fit, sealing and any required camera calibration depend on the model and repair.
A rear impact can damage the crash bar, boot floor, lights or bumper mounts. Some cars have blind-spot radar behind the rear bumper, which can restrict how that area is repaired.
You can request a self-pay estimate or ask about an insurance repair once your insurer confirms the workshop. In both cases, the car needs an assessment before the repair cost can be finalised.
If your policy includes agency repair, your insurer may require the car to go to the dealer. Check your policy before choosing a garage.
For a small repair, compare the written estimate with your excess and ask your insurer about any effect on the policy. Report accident damage even if you intend to pay directly.
Documents to bring
The size of a dent is only part of the decision. Paint condition, access behind the panel, damaged mounting points and the manufacturer’s repair limits determine which repair is suitable.
Suitable dents can be reshaped while keeping the original paint. Sharp creases, stretched metal and difficult access can limit the result.
Dent repairRepairable damage is reshaped and prepared for paint. The finish is matched to the car, with nearby panels blended where needed.
Body shop serviceA damaged panel may need replacement when repair is unsuitable. The part must match the model, mounting points and fitted equipment before painting.
Structural damage needs measurement and a model-specific repair decision. Some sections require replacement; straightening is not suitable for every material or vehicle.

Genuine and aftermarket body parts can differ in fit and compatibility with sensors. Some manufacturers prohibit repairs in particular radar areas or require an original replacement bumper. We discuss suitable parts and availability before you approve the estimate.
The estimate should identify the replacement part and paint work together. Check whether the bumper price includes its grilles, trim and clips, or whether these can be transferred from the undamaged original parts.
The finish matters, and so does the operation of the parts disturbed by the impact. The final checks depend on the damage and work completed.
Checked in daylight and under workshop lights, with blending into nearby panels where needed.
Even gaps around doors, bonnet and boot, with smooth opening and closing.
Disturbed sensors and cameras need the applicable checks and calibration. A clear dashboard alone does not establish correct calibration.
Steering, wheel and suspension damage is assessed first; alignment is checked where the impact or repair requires it.
Headlights, indicators, tail lights and any disturbed wiring checked and working.
When the car is safe for testing, a road test checks handling and any new rattles or wind noise.
Repair requirements can change between models of the same make. Share the model year and VIN so the correct body parts, fitted sensors and repair requirements can be identified.
Have your police report and photos ready, and we can advise on the next step.
Call 050 608 7150 ↗Report the accident first and keep the police report for the repairer and insurer. For an insurance claim, follow your insurer’s document requirements. Minor accidents without injuries can be reported through the Dubai Police app; call 901 if you need non-emergency reporting help.
Photos help us understand the visible damage and plan an inspection. They cannot show every broken mounting, leak or damaged part behind a bumper. Any price discussed from photos remains provisional until the car is assessed.
The estimate will include an expected timescale for your repair. Parts supply, paint preparation and curing, required calibration and insurer approval can affect collection. Extra damage found during dismantling may change the completion date.
Ask your insurer to confirm that it accepts this workshop for your claim before bringing the car for insurance repairs. Approval depends on the policy and repairer arrangements. We can prepare a damage estimate and photographs for assessment; we cannot guarantee claim acceptance.
The estimate may need to be revised if hidden damage becomes visible during dismantling. The additional parts and work should be explained before approval. An insurance job may also need a revised estimate accepted by the insurer.
A small mark does not prove the car is safe to drive. Do not continue with leaks, loose bodywork, deployed airbags, damaged wheels or changed steering or braking. If you are unsure about its condition, arrange recovery and have it assessed.
We start from your car’s paint code and assess the existing finish. Ageing or previous paintwork can affect the match, so tint adjustment and blending into nearby panels may be needed. The finish is checked before handover.
It depends on the model, fitted equipment and work performed. Removing a camera, disturbing a radar mount or repairing nearby bodywork can trigger a manufacturer calibration requirement. Ask for the required checks and any calibration to be identified in the estimate.
No. The material, damage location and manufacturer’s repair instructions determine whether a section can be repaired or must be replaced. Structural work needs a vehicle-specific assessment before a method, price or completion date is confirmed.
Review the completed work and invoice, panel fit, paint finish and operation of repaired lights, doors and windows. Ask for any scan, alignment or calibration records relevant to the job and the warranty terms for the parts and work. Confirm when fresh paint can be washed, polished or covered with a coating or film.
Call with the vehicle’s location and condition to ask about recovery to our Al Quoz workshop. Collection depends on access and availability. Mention damaged wheels or loose bodywork when arranging transport.
Call our Al Quoz team or send photos of the damage, the model year and your police report on WhatsApp. We will discuss the next step and arrange an inspection or recovery where needed.
