Compare Nissan service and fitted repair costs

Use these workshop guides to compare the work included. They are estimates for suitable applications, not fixed prices for every Nissan.

WorkFitted estimateInclusions and price differences
Standard oil and filter serviceAED 200–350General guide for many engines using up to 5 litres. Required oil, compatible filter, labour and final checks. Other filters and service inspections are separate.
Higher-capacity oil serviceAED 350–600General guide for many engines needing 6–8 litres or a more costly oil/filter combination. Larger quantities and specialist requirements can cost more.
CVT fluid maintenanceAED 525–1,260Application-specific fluid and ordinary labour. Filter, pan work, repairs and extra diagnosis are separate unless included. This is maintenance, not a gearbox rebuild.
Standard brake padsAED 250–500 per axleQuality aftermarket pad set and fitting on the front or rear pair. Sensors and additional hardware are itemised. Larger Patrol or performance brakes can cost more.
New pads and discsAED 650–2,500 per axlePair of discs, pad set and fitting on one axle. Genuine or performance assemblies and caliper repairs can change the total.
Targeted transmission repairAED 1,500–4,500General guide for confirmed component work with fitting. The quote identifies the part, fluid and routine setup. Simple external repairs can cost less. Complex CVTs can cost more.
Conventional automatic rebuildAED 3,500–10,000+General guide for agreed removal, internal work, refitting and specified fluid. Additional cooler repairs or damaged parts are itemised. CVT and GT-R work need their own quotation.
Engine, AC, battery and body repairsQuoted for the workIdentify the failed component, parts choice and fitting requirements first. A new battery, an AC recharge and an engine rebuild have different contents and prices.

All figures above include 5% VAT. One axle means the two front brakes or the two rear brakes. Genuine parts, special fitments and additional repairs may change the quotation. A diagnostic fee pays for the agreed investigation, not the repair itself.

Tell us the model, year and work you need. We will confirm the service contents or arrange an assessment, then explain the complete total before repairs start. Ask for the parts brand, expected completion date and applicable warranty terms with your estimate.

Match the repair to your Nissan model

Find the nearest model group, then share the details that affect the parts and quotation. A model badge starts the enquiry but does not settle every specification.

Patrol and Patrol Safari

What changes the work

Engine, generation, brakes and fitted suspension differ. Confirm the four-wheel-drive, transfer and differential service items rather than adding them to every visit.

Details for your quotation

Share the year, engine, towing or off-road use and any wheel, suspension or performance changes.

Altima and Maxima

What changes the work

Match the installed engine and gearbox before selecting oil or transmission work. A shudder needs assessment of the complaint, not an automatic fluid-change booking.

Details for your quotation

Tell us whether it happens hot or cold, at idle or under acceleration, and whether a warning is present.

Sunny, Sentra, Tiida, Micra and Versa

What changes the work

Engine capacity, transmission and original market determine service parts. A routine oil service can be kept separate from additional scheduled replacements.

Details for your quotation

Provide the model and year, mileage and last service record if available. Imported specifications may differ.

X-Trail, Rogue, Kicks, Juke and Qashqai

What changes the work

Year and market determine the powertrain and driven wheels. Current local petrol X-Trail specifications include Xtronic CVT, with different front- or all-wheel-drive versions.

Details for your quotation

Mention any AWD or e-POWER badge, the service history and where the original car was sold.

Pathfinder, X-Terra and Murano

What changes the work

Do not choose transmission fluid or parts from the SUV badge alone. Fitted gearbox, engine and drive system guide the work.

Details for your quotation

Share the year and the fault. Older and newer versions may require different transmission service procedures.

Navara, Urvan and NV350

What changes the work

Load, commercial use, engine and transmission affect the service plan. Brake, cooling and suspension condition should reflect the actual vehicle and use.

Details for your quotation

Describe regular loads, daily use and any downtime you need to plan around. Agree parts availability before the visit.

GT-R, Z, 350Z and 370Z

What changes the work

Performance brakes, modified engines and transmission requirements need separate matching. The R35 GT-R dual-clutch installation has its own service requirements.

Details for your quotation

Include modifications, track use and service records. Confirm equipment and specialist access for the exact requested work.

Build a service around what is due

An oil change, a scheduled service and a fault repair are different jobs. Your model’s maintenance schedule, time, mileage and records determine which items belong in the visit.

Mechanic checking engine oil with a dipstick
The oil product, filter and final level are confirmed for the fitted engine.

Oil service and inspection

  • Required engine oil specification and fill quantity
  • Compatible replacement oil filter and normal fitting work
  • Final oil level and visible leak checks
  • Agreed inspection of brakes, tyres, lights, battery and accessible fluids

An oil-only estimate does not automatically include the wider inspection. Tell us about leaks or warnings before the visit so the right work can be quoted.

Scheduled replacements when due

  • Air and cabin filters, spark plugs and applicable fuel filters
  • Brake fluid and the specified coolant service
  • Correct transmission fluid and service parts
  • Transfer or differential fluids where the vehicle requires them

Each replacement is matched to the schedule and history. Timing work, fuel cleaning and every-fluid changes are not automatic additions to a major service.

Keep the next service easy to plan

Bring previous invoices or the service booklet. We can distinguish work already completed from items still due and record what is supplied. There is no single 10,000 km or annual interval for every Nissan and every component. Describe towing, regular heavy loads, dust or other severe-use conditions so the applicable manufacturer guidance can be checked.

Keep the oil specification, mileage and fitted parts on the invoice. If an existing warranty or service contract applies, check its requirements before arranging independent work. We do not promise that every outside repair preserves every manufacturer policy.

Choose the work for your fitted gearbox

Choose your gearbox type. Not sure which is fitted? Call with the model and year.

Transmission pan and fluid condition being inspected
Fluid condition is assessed with the symptom and gearbox design.

Loss of drive or severe slipping

Stop safely for severe slipping, loss of drive, smoke, a major leak or overheating. Follow the vehicle’s instructions and arrange suitable recovery.

For dedicated gearbox work, see our Nissan transmission repair service.

CVT service or confirmed fault repair

CVTs need the fluid and filling procedure specified for the fitted gearbox. Confirm the model, year and original market before choosing the product.

Work to distinguish

  • Normal operation with a service due can call for the specified fluid maintenance
  • Shudder, overheating, delayed engagement or loss of drive needs investigation before a routine service
  • Relevant checks can include codes, live data, fluid level and condition, leaks and the cooling circuit

What to agree before repair

Control or valve-body faults may allow targeted repair. Internal wear may require a rebuild or compatible replacement. Fresh fluid cannot repair worn parts.

Agree the parts, fluid, removal and setup included. Follow the schedule for your gearbox.

Conventional automatic service and repair

Match the gearbox code before selecting ATF, a filter or pan service. Conventional automatics and CVTs have different requirements.

Work to distinguish

  • Describe the shift, noise or leak and whether it changes as the car warms
  • Distinguish an external leak or control fault from internal damage
  • Compare fitted repair, rebuild or replacement costs after the findings

What to agree before repair

Agree inspection fees before removal. Replacement quotes should state the unit’s condition, compatibility and warranty.

Service history and condition determine whether maintenance is suitable. A harsh shift alone does not prove replacement is needed.

Manual gearbox or clutch work

Clutch slip, difficult engagement and gearbox noise need different checks. These may involve clutch wear, hydraulics, release parts or linkage.

Work to distinguish

  • A clutch quote states the kit and labour, plus flywheel work if required
  • Hydraulic leaks and gear-selection adjustments are separate from internal repair
  • Gear oil is selected for the fitted transmission, not assumed to match differential oil

What to agree before repair

Fluid cannot repair a worn clutch. Noise or vibration may also involve mounts, shafts, joints or bearings.

Confirm replacement compatibility and fitting requirements. Mention modified clutches or recent work.

GT-R dual-clutch and specialist requirements

The R35 GT-R has a dual-clutch gearbox and rear transaxle. It needs its own fluid, servicing and repair quotation.

Work to distinguish

  • Provide the model year, gearbox history and modifications
  • Describe warnings, engagement changes or symptoms after track use
  • Confirm compatible fluid, service parts, equipment and specialist support

What to agree before repair

Confirm specialist equipment, access, parts availability and setup before booking internal repairs or programming.

Modified clutches and rebuilds are separate jobs. Agree the work and timing in writing.

Choose engine repairs that address the cause

Compare the repair for your symptom before committing to a larger job.

Leaks and oil loss

Check seals, gaskets and engine ventilation, then quote the confirmed repair, access labour and oil required. Falling oil level without a visible leak needs a different investigation. After fitting, check the original leak again.

Rough running or power loss

Use the symptom and test results to distinguish ignition, fuel, intake, exhaust or control faults. Replace plugs, coils, injectors or sensors only when needed, with applicable setup and final checks. A fault code alone is not a parts order.

Internal engine damage

Confirm the damage before agreeing dismantling or machining. Compare targeted head or timing work, a rebuild and a compatible replacement. Used engines need condition checks, suitable accessories and setup. Address the original cause of failure.

Agree investigation fees and the fitted total before work. Further findings need approval. See our Nissan engine repair service for dedicated work. Stop safely for oil-pressure warnings, severe mechanical noise, flashing warnings or overheating.

Restore cabin cooling and control engine temperature

Warm cabin air and engine overheating need different checks. Tell us which problem you have.

Clean and used cabin filters shown side by side
A restricted filter can affect airflow. It does not explain every cooling fault.

Weak airflow

Check the cabin filter, blower and air distribution.

Warm air or odour

For warm air, check refrigerant, leaks, compressor operation and controls. For odour or dampness, inspect the filter, drain and ventilation.

Coolant loss or overheating

Locate leaks, assess radiator, hoses, pump, fan and temperature controls, and confirm the coolant condition and specification. Mention when the temperature rises and any recent work.

Quote recharge, leak repair and replacement separately, using the correct refrigerant, compressor oil or coolant. A top-up does not fix a leak. For steam or overheating, stop safely, switch off and let the engine cool. Never open a hot coolant cap.

Plan brake, tyre and suspension work together

Choose the work that addresses the condition found. Pads, alignment and suspension repairs solve different problems.

The workWhat to check and include

Brakes

Keep serviceable discs and replace pads when appropriate. Worn or damaged discs need the correct pad and disc set. Pedal changes or warnings may require hydraulic, caliper or wheel-speed checks.

Agree the axle, parts, fitting and any sensors, hardware or parking-brake procedures. Match Patrol and performance brakes to the car.

Tyres and wheels

Match dimensions, load and speed ratings, and pressure guidance. Check tread, damage and uneven wear. Balancing addresses vibration, while alignment addresses wheel geometry.

Confirm quantities, fitting and wheel services. Staggered sizes may prevent rotation. Assess damaged wheels before fitting tyres.

Suspension and steering

Use knocks, pulling, vibration or an unstable ride to guide checks of bushes, joints, dampers, mounts, bearings and steering. Identify fitted hydraulic or electronic equipment.

Include required setup and alignment after repairs. Modified Patrol suspension needs its own settings.

Stop safely for reduced braking, a sinking pedal, severe pulling, tyre damage or loss of steering control. Arrange help rather than testing the fault.

Identify the electrical work before replacing parts

A starting fault, display problem and camera warning have different repair requirements. Give the workshop the exact symptom and recent work.

Starting and battery

Details to report

Slow cranking, repeated flat battery, recent replacement or accessory installation.

Work and access to confirm

Test the battery, connections, starter and charging supply as relevant. Repeated discharge needs investigation. A new battery must match the installation, technology, size and ratings.

Keys, displays and controls

Details to report

Exact message or failed function, when it began and whether it changes intermittently.

Work and access to confirm

Check accessible wiring and controls before assuming a module has failed. Key programming, module setup and software work depend on compatible equipment, permissions and access for that car.

Cameras and safety systems

Details to report

Warning message, affected camera or sensor and any recent windscreen, bumper or collision work.

Work and access to confirm

Distinguish damaged wiring or hardware from calibration needs. Confirm the required procedure and equipment. A calibration is a specific job, not a universal addition to every scan.

Scanning reads available fault information. It is different from finding an intermittent wiring fault, updating software or completing a calibration. We explain the requested job and any specialist support before agreeing the charge. Previous modifications and imported equipment should be mentioned rather than assumed compatible.

Agree body repairs and the right replacement parts

Agree the damage repair, parts and delivery before planning collection.

Assess the damage

Inspect panels and nearby mounts, lights, glass and mechanical parts. Agree repair or replacement, paint preparation and colour matching. Windscreens need the correct glass and any camera or sensor requirements.

Agree the fitted repair

Include labour, fitting materials and completion checks. Obtain approval for additional findings. Insurance work follows policy and authorisation conditions. Keep covered and customer-paid work separate, with applicable warranty terms in writing.

Confirm parts and timing

Match the VIN or component reference. Compare genuine, suitable original-equipment supplier and aftermarket options. Check compatibility and condition for imported, used or modified parts. Confirm delivery before promising collection.

A cosmetic estimate does not cover hidden structural damage. Dent removal, polishing, detailing, ceramic protection and upholstery can be quoted separately. Mention modifications so compatibility, safety-system effects and setup can be checked.

Arrange your Nissan repair visit in Al Quoz

Call or WhatsApp with your model and the problem to arrange the next step.

Bring the details that help us prepare

  • Your model, year and mileage, with service records or relevant invoices. The VIN may be needed for parts matching.
  • The exact symptom or requested service. Mention recent repairs, modifications and whether the fault occurs hot or cold.
  • Your location and access conditions if asking about pickup. Unsafe brakes, overheating or loss of drive need suitable recovery.

Approve the fitted total and timing before repairs. Keep the invoice, parts details and follow-up advice.

Questions before arranging your Nissan service or repair

Clear answers about the work, parts and next step.

How much does Nissan servicing cost in Dubai?

An oil and filter service is generally AED 200–350 for suitable engines using up to 5 litres, or AED 350–600 for many higher-capacity or specific-requirement jobs. The agreed oil, filter, labour and VAT are included. A scheduled service adds only the inspection or replacements listed in its quotation.

Will a fluid change fix Nissan CVT shudder?

Not necessarily. A service may address a maintenance need, but shudder can also involve control, hydraulic or internal wear problems. Describe the symptom and service history. The workshop confirms the investigation needed before recommending fluid maintenance, targeted repair, rebuild or replacement.

Does every Nissan use the same gearbox oil?

No. CVT, conventional automatic, manual and GT-R dual-clutch installations have different requirements. The fitted gearbox determines its fluid and procedure. The 2024 Altima NS-3 requirement is one model-specific example, not a universal instruction for every Nissan.

Can you repair Patrol and Patrol Safari models?

We can discuss servicing and mechanical, electrical, brake, cooling and body repairs for your Patrol. Share the year, engine and fitted equipment, particularly suspension or performance changes. The exact components, access and parts availability determine the agreed work.

Are genuine Nissan parts included in every quote?

No. We identify the genuine or suitable alternative parts being quoted, with their brand, availability and applicable warranty. A low estimate using aftermarket parts is not directly comparable with a genuine-parts quotation unless the contents are made clear.

Can I keep my Nissan manufacturer warranty?

Check your vehicle’s actual warranty or service-contract conditions with its authorised provider before booking independent work. Coverage depends on the policy, maintenance and requested repair. Manufacturer recalls and warranty claims should be checked with the relevant Nissan provider. We do not guarantee every outside job preserves all coverage.

Can you collect my Nissan for repairs?

Ask about pickup and drop-off for your location and appointment. Availability and access need confirmation. A non-driving or unsafe car may need recovery. Tell us about a locked wheel, major leak, overheating, low ground clearance or an electrified powertrain so a suitable arrangement can be discussed.

How long will a Nissan repair take?

Timing depends on the confirmed job and parts. An accessible service or component repair is different from removal, internal inspection or imported parts sourcing. We give an expected completion date after confirming the work and explain additional findings or delivery delays before extending the repair.
