Giulietta and MiTo
Oil servicing, cooling, leaks, clutches and electrical repairs for these earlier models. The 1.4 MultiAir and Giulietta 1750 engines use different parts; manual and TCT dual-clutch versions also change the transmission work.
If your Alfa is due a service or has started hesitating on the road, book a visit at our independent Al Quoz workshop. My Car Repair Dubai handles scheduled servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs, AC and bodywork, with the parts and work explained before repair begins.
Free initial inspection and fault-code scan. Further investigation is agreed separately.

Tell us what is due or what you have noticed, whether you drive a Giulia every day or are bringing an older Spider back into regular use.
Book oil, filter and scheduled maintenance against the car’s history. We can also attend to worn brakes, tyres and other items found during the visit, with replacements explained before they are added to the job.
Hesitation, rough gear changes or a new vibration can be described in a few words. Start with engine and turbo repairs, gearbox and clutch work, or brakes, steering and suspension. Mention when the change occurs: cold, warm, under acceleration or while braking.
For everyday comfort, we also handle AC, starting and electrical faults. Scratches, damaged glass and worn seats belong with bodywork and interior repairs, which can be arranged alongside mechanical work.
Your model name starts the enquiry. The engine, gearbox and fitted equipment tell us which parts and procedures belong on the estimate.
For the Giulia saloon and Stelvio SUV, we cover engine servicing, cooling and turbo repairs, eight-speed automatic work, brakes, suspension, AC and electrical concerns. The 2.0 petrol and imported diesel versions have their own maintenance requirements.
Drive layout matters when investigating vibration or sourcing driveline parts. Q4-equipped cars add front-drive and transfer components to the job; the rear-wheel-drive Giulia does not use that same arrangement.
The 2.9 V6 bi-turbo, adaptive suspension and steel or optional carbon-ceramic brakes need a version-specific estimate. Specialist work is confirmed before accepting the car.

For these models, the 147, 156 and GT, send the year and requested repair. Older Selespeed, manual and automatic applications need the correct unit identified. We check parts supply for classic, imported and low-volume cars, including the 4C, before arranging the visit.
Tell us whether your car is hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric. Routine mechanical work and specialist electrified-system work are accepted by task. We confirm electrified-system repairs individually before booking.
Start with the job you need. These figures help compare routine work with larger mechanical repairs before requesting a quotation for your Alfa.
All amounts include 5% VAT. Routine prices below are Dubai market benchmarks; mechanical ranges are our published general workshop estimates. They are budget references, not fixed Alfa Romeo quotations.
Published market benchmarks
Oil, a standard new filter and service labour for one vehicle. The approval, quantity and filter required for your engine affect the final price. A Quadrifoglio needs its own service quotation.
One battery with fitting, a battery check and disposal in the source’s most-cars range. Start-stop and premium types can cost more. Hybrid and electric traction batteries are outside this figure.
Published general workshop estimates
The applicable kit, tensioning components, fitting and timing. The engine determines which work is required; water pump, coolant and related additional repairs are identified separately.
General guidance for worn turbos, oil leakage and boost faults. The failed component and repair choice determine the job. This is not a fixed price for a pair of Quadrifoglio turbos.
Market references: QARO oil service and 800Battery’s Alfa Romeo page, checked 1 October 2026. The mechanical ranges come from our engine repair price guide and cover more than one make and engine.
Need a brake, TCT clutch, AC or bodywork price? Tell us the model and the job. We will explain the parts, labour and any further investigation before you approve the estimate.
Bring the handbook or previous invoices when you have them. We use the applicable schedule and the work already recorded to plan the next service, particularly when an imported car arrives with gaps in its history.
An oil service uses the engine’s specified approval and quantity with a new filter. The required approval matters alongside viscosity on a Giulietta 1.4 MultiAir, Giulia 2.0 turbo or 2.9 Quadrifoglio. A major service adds the items due for that vehicle, such as spark plugs, air and cabin filters or brake fluid.
Where a scheduled timing belt is fitted, both age and mileage count. The estimate identifies the belt kit and any associated pump or auxiliary-belt work. Timing-chain noise or a timing fault follows an investigation instead of a brand-wide replacement interval.
When the car hesitates, runs unevenly or changes gear harshly, tell us how it feels and when it happens. We follow the concern through the engine and transmission before recommending the repair.

Oil-seal and gasket repairs start by locating the leak at a cover, housing, seal or connection. For rough running, the investigation may involve spark plugs, coils, fuelling and mechanical condition. On a MultiAir engine, code findings are checked against the fault before valve-control components are replaced.
Reduced boost can come from a charge-air leak, control problem or turbo wear. The repair may be a hose or control component, or a suitable turbo replacement. The 2.9 bi-turbo arrangement affects access and parts pricing differently from a four-cylinder installation.
Coolant leaks and overheating call for attention to the relevant hoses, radiator, pump, thermostat, expansion tank or fan operation. Once the failed part is repaired, the circuit is checked for leaks and correct operation. Stop safely and arrange assistance if the car overheats, steams or shows a serious oil-pressure warning; leave a hot coolant cap closed.
Confirmed internal damage may lead to a cylinder-head repair, rebuild or compatible replacement engine. We explain that choice against the engine’s condition and the rest of the car. Dismantling and machining can extend the job, while a replacement quote identifies whether the unit is new, rebuilt or used and what comes with it.
If the engine runs well but engagement or shifting has changed, the fitted transmission becomes the focus. A service can address due fluid work; clutch, hydraulic, electrical and internal faults require their own repair decisions.
For eight-speed automatic versions, a service identifies the correct oil and required filter, pan or sealing parts. Delayed engagement, slipping or harsh changes are investigated before choosing servicing, an external repair or internal work.
The dual-clutch gearbox brings clutch condition, hydraulic operation and control into a shifting complaint. Repair may involve a clutch or another component, followed by the applicable setup procedure. The estimate follows the findings.
Manual clutch work considers the release mechanism and any flywheel concern alongside the clutch itself. For Selespeed or an imported automatic, identifying the exact unit comes before pricing components.
Vibration may continue further along the driveline. On Giulia and Stelvio Q4 cars, checks can extend to transfer components, driveshafts, joints and differentials. Wheel and tyre condition belongs in that investigation too.
If the steering feels loose, the car pulls or a noise appears over bumps, describe the change at booking. We can combine the required brake, suspension, wheel or tyre work in the same visit.
A brake estimate names the axle, pads, discs and any caliper or fluid work. Giulia and Stelvio equipment, including the parking brake, is checked for the appropriate procedure. Vibration under braking is investigated along with the component condition.
Quadrifoglio owners should identify steel or optional carbon-ceramic discs before comparing prices. Specialist carbon-ceramic work is confirmed individually, with the correct parts and inspection requirements.

Repairs can involve worn arms, bushes, joints, dampers, bearings or steering components. Conventional and adaptive dampers are identified before ordering. Wheel damage, tyre condition and the fitted sizes also affect how the car feels.
Once loose or worn components have been repaired, alignment is carried out where required. That keeps the final setup tied to sound mechanical parts and the wheels actually fitted.
Cabin temperature, starting and dashboard warnings are often what an owner notices first. Tell us whether the concern is constant or intermittent and whether it began after recent work.
Weak airflow leads towards the cabin filter, blower or distribution controls. Normal airflow with warm air leads towards the refrigerant circuit and its operation. Repair may involve a leak, pipe, condenser, compressor, evaporator or electrical control.
We identify the refrigerant and required charge from the vehicle, address any leak and recharge as appropriate. Access is a major cost factor: an evaporator job can involve far more dismantling than an accessible pipe or seal. Cleaning and filter work are included when they answer an odour or airflow concern.
A difficult start brings the 12V battery, connections and charging operation into the checks. A replacement must match capacity, dimensions, polarity and battery technology, including start-stop requirements. Any necessary vehicle setup is confirmed with the work.
When ABS, airbag, engine or DNA-mode warnings appear, code findings are followed through wiring, power supply and component operation. Protected programming, software access and specialist calibration are checked before the work is accepted.
A mechanical visit is a useful opportunity to discuss a damaged panel, worn seat or water leak. Photographs can help begin that conversation.
Dents, scratches, bumpers and damaged panels can be repaired or replaced as appropriate before painting. Hidden brackets and damage beneath the outer panel may add work once the area is opened. Quadrifoglio carbon components, the 4C’s construction and any structural or restraint work require a specialist acceptance check.
Replacement glass is matched to fitted cameras, sensors and other equipment, with calibration needs identified before booking. Seat bolsters, seams and trim can be repaired locally or retrimmed, keeping relevant safety features in mind. On a Spider or another convertible, the source of water entry should be repaired before renewing a stained interior.
Start with your Alfa’s model and the job or symptom. We will help organise the visit and explain what can be priced ahead of inspection.
The initial inspection and fault-code scan are free. Any further testing or dismantling is agreed separately, then the repair estimate sets out the recommended work, parts and total for your approval. Additional findings are raised before the job is extended.
Parts can be genuine, from an original-equipment supplier or a suitable aftermarket manufacturer. We explain the actual option and fitment rather than treating those labels as interchangeable. A VIN is helpful for imports; details of a remap, exhaust, wheels or suspension changes help with modified cars. Warranty terms are confirmed for the selected parts and work.
Parts supply and any machining are included in the timing discussion. Pickup and return can be discussed when booking, subject to availability and the car’s condition. An Alfa that cannot be driven safely needs suitable recovery. At collection, the checks follow the repair—such as fluid levels, leaks, operation and an appropriate road test—and you receive the relevant aftercare advice.
Photos help with visible body, glass and interior damage. A defined service or known part may also be priced once the vehicle details are established. Intermittent electrical, engine and gearbox concerns usually require a workshop assessment before the total is dependable.
Yes. An Alfa Romeo pre-purchase inspection can review its visible condition, mechanical and electrical concerns and signs of previous repairs. Bring available history and modification details. The findings describe the car at the visit; they cannot guarantee future reliability.
