Initial visual assessment
Free
A first look at the concern during a workshop visit. Computer scanning, targeted testing and dismantling are separate.
Computer scan and initial fault diagnosis
AED 150–350
Relevant system scan, agreed targeted checks and an explanation of the findings. An initial appointment is usually 30–60 minutes; extended tests, programming and dismantling need separate approval.
Routine V8 oil and filter service
AED 1,600–2,700
Specified engine oil, a compatible oil filter, labor and routine checks. Earlier Vantage V8 and later twin-turbo V8 applications use different quantities and parts. Spark plugs, extra filters and repairs are excluded.
Larger scheduled service
AED 3,700–7,400
Additional filters, spark plugs or fluids only where due for the particular car. We identify those items from the schedule and service history. V12 applications need an engine-specific estimate; this is not an all-inclusive replacement package.
Steel brake discs and pads on one axle
AED 2,700–5,300
A compatible disc pair and pad set, fitting and checks. The quotation identifies the axle and parts supplier. Carbon-ceramic brakes, calipers and hydraulic repairs are excluded.
Conventional automatic transmission fluid service
AED 1,600–3,200
Specified fluid, applicable filter and seals, and labor for a compatible automatic. Sportshift clutch work, DBX707 wet-clutch procedures and internal transmission repairs require their own quotation.
Earlier Vantage clutch replacement
AED 12,600–26,300
Compatible clutch kit, removal and refitting, and applicable setup. Manual and Sportshift jobs differ. A flywheel, hydraulic actuator or additional damage is priced separately when required.
DBX air suspension repair
Estimate after testing
A leaking air spring, damaged line, valve fault and failed compressor need different repairs. The quotation identifies the failed component and any required ride-height calibration or alignment.
Carbon-ceramic brake work
Estimate by part number
Condition assessment, the correct disc or pad specification, and an axle-specific fitted price. A steel-brake estimate does not apply to carbon-ceramic equipment.
Cooling leaks, AC faults and battery problems
Estimate after diagnosis
Cooling work identifies the leak or failed pump, thermostat or fan. AC work separates leak repair from refrigerant charging. Battery work identifies the correct battery and any required setup. Diagnosis does not include replacement parts.
Internal engine or gearbox repair
Estimate after diagnosis
Investigation or strip-down, replacement parts, machining or assembly supply, refitting, fluids and testing are itemized. Additional investigation is agreed before an assembly is opened.

October 2026 estimates for the stated work, not fixed prices for every Aston Martin. Genuine-only parts, unusual specifications and additional damage can change the total. Diagnostic charges are separate unless your written quotation includes a repair credit.

Save on the right work. Compare suitable parts suppliers and combine overlapping labor where practical. A confirmed hose or seal fault may need a focused repair instead of a complete assembly. The cheaper option still needs to match the car and carry clear terms.

Tell us what the car is doing

Aston Martin problems we diagnose

Tell us what happens, when it happens and which warning appears. The same symptom can have several causes, so these checks help us choose the next step.

It’s running hot or losing coolant

Check the leak source, coolant circuit, fan operation and temperature readings. A hose or radiator leak calls for a different repair from internal engine damage.

Once the cause is confirmed, the quote should include the affected part, correct coolant and follow-up checks.

The engine feels uneven or has lost power

A warning code points toward a system, not automatically a replacement part. Misfire data, ignition, air leaks and fuel delivery help narrow the cause. Mechanical tests may be needed if the evidence points further inside.

Gear changes feel wrong

Describe whether the car hesitates selecting a gear, slips under load or jolts as it shifts. First identify the gearbox. An older Sportshift clutch system and a later automatic need different checks and parts.

The brake pedal or steering vibrates

Check pads, disc condition, runout and hub condition alongside wheel and tire issues. Confirm steel or carbon-ceramic equipment before discussing parts or machining.

Your DBX settles lower overnight

Inspect for air loss, compare ride-height readings and assess compressor operation. The corner that drops is useful evidence; it is not enough on its own to order a compressor or replace every air spring.

The engine will not start

Tell us whether the car unlocks, recognizes the key and cranks. Battery condition, charging, starter operation and relevant faults help separate the causes. Repeated battery discharge also needs a drain investigation.

The AC warms up in traffic

We compare vent temperature, airflow, system pressures and fan operation, then investigate leaks where indicated. A refrigerant refill alone will not repair a leak or an electrical fault.

Model and equipment matter

Aston Martin models we service

Even two cars with the same model name can use different engines, transmissions and brake packages. The year and specification belong at the start of the booking.

Earlier V8 and V12 Vantage
Earlier V8 and V12 Vantage cars may have a manual or Sportshift transmission. We identify the gearbox before quoting clutch, hydraulic or setup work. Vantage repair information covers the model in more detail.
Later Vantage, DB11 and DBS
The Vantage generation introduced for 2018 launched with a twin-turbo V8 and eight-speed automatic. DB11 V8 and V12 parts also differ. Engine identification, service history and brake equipment guide the estimate. Aston Martin’s Vantage launch specifications describe that generation.
DBX and DBX707
A low corner needs air-suspension and ride-height checks. DBX707 has carbon-ceramic brakes and a nine-speed wet-clutch automatic, so its parts and service procedures need separate identification. Read DBX repair information and the manufacturer’s DBX707 specifications.
DB9, Rapide, Virage, Vanquish and newer variants
For DB9, Rapide, Virage and Vanquish work, share the year, engine and service history. DB12 and rare variants need a parts and procedure check before acceptance. Hybrid or high-voltage work, security programming and restricted software functions require a separate capability check.

For a used Aston Martin, ask for an inspection that includes service history, stored faults and the equipment fitted to that particular car. Our pre-purchase inspection page explains the appointment requirements.

Engine and cooling diagnosis

Engine diagnosis and cooling repairs

We investigate warning lights, misfires, overheating and coolant loss before recommending parts. The aim is to identify whether you need a focused repair, internal work or an assembly replacement.

  1. Connect the complaint to the data

Record the warning and fault history, check relevant live readings and inspect the affected area. Where safe and appropriate, reproduce the condition that brings the problem on.

  2. Test the suspected cause

A coolant pressure test, ignition check or air-leak test may answer a targeted question. Compression, leak-down or internal inspection may be added as separately agreed checks when mechanical damage is suspected.

  3. Explain the finding and the complete repair

The estimate should identify the failed part, supporting evidence, parts choice and any related work. Agree additional dismantling charges before opening the engine. After repair, recheck the original complaint.

Localized fault

Repair the affected system

A confirmed hose, seal, ignition or cooling component fault may allow a focused repair. Include access labor, fluids and testing; a small part does not always mean a small labor bill.

Confirmed internal wear

Assess a rebuild

A rebuild only makes sense after the condition, measurements, parts supply and machining needs are known. Ask which parts are renewed and who covers the completed work.

Damage or limited repair viability

Compare an assembly replacement

Where a suitable assembly is available, compare its origin, compatibility, condition, installation needs and written warranty with the rebuild total. Used or remanufactured supply is not automatically available.

Clutch and gearbox work

Aston Martin clutch and gearbox repairs

We identify the fitted transmission first, then separate maintenance, clutch or control faults, and internal repairs. That avoids applying the wrong service or parts estimate.

Manual and Sportshift cars

Separate clutch wear from hydraulic or actuation problems. On applicable Sportshift systems, the required setup after repair matters too. The quote should state whether it includes the clutch kit, release components, a flywheel if needed and the relevant adaptation procedure.

Conventional automatic applications

Check faults, operating conditions, fluid condition and leaks before deciding on a fluid service, control-system repair or internal work. A fluid change is maintenance, not a promised cure for slipping. The correct fluid specification, filter arrangement and level-setting procedure depend on the gearbox.

DBX707 transmission work

Its wet-clutch automatic is a different application from an older Vantage Sportshift system. Confirm service information and capability for the exact job. See transmission diagnosis and repair for the next step.

Brakes, ride and steering

Brake and suspension repair options

A steel-disc quote is not a guide to a carbon-ceramic replacement. Identify the fitted brake package, then assess wear and damage using the applicable procedure.

Steel discs and pads

The one-axle budget above covers a compatible disc pair and pad set with fitting and checks. Disc thickness, condition, hub condition and runout can change the work needed. Calipers or hydraulic faults need their own line on the estimate.

Carbon-ceramic brakes

DBX707 is one relevant example. Carbon-ceramic discs require the correct assessment method and compatible pads. Do not treat them as ordinary discs that can simply be skimmed. Request the actual part numbers and a complete quotation.

Tires and alignment belong in the discussion

Check the specified tire sizes, condition and alignment when investigating pulling or vibration. Many applications use different front and rear fitments, so tire rotation should only follow the permitted arrangement. See Aston Martin brake repair.

Metal brake disc, caliper and wheel hub exposed with the wheel removed

DBX air suspension checks

A low corner can involve the air spring, lines, valves, height sensing or control. Assess the cause and compressor operation before approving a large parts list. Any required calibration or alignment should appear in the estimate.

For coupes, check the actual damper and suspension specification. An adaptive damper fault is not the same job as a worn bush. Explore suspension repair options.

Starting, electrical faults and AC

Electrical diagnosis and AC repairs

Starting problems, repeated battery discharge and several warning messages need battery, charging and fault checks. Low voltage is one possibility, not a diagnosis on its own.

Check battery condition, charging performance and relevant faults. If the battery repeatedly goes flat, investigate the reason. Replacing it without checking an abnormal drain can leave you with the same problem.

A key problem and a no-start problem are not identical

Describe whether the car unlocks, recognizes the key, cranks or remains silent. That detail helps separate a key concern from battery, starter or control-system diagnosis. Security programming and manufacturer software access need confirmation for the exact model.

AC that cools while moving but warms at idle

Compare vent temperature and airflow with operating pressures, fan operation and evidence of leaks. The correct refrigerant and charge quantity come from the vehicle specification. Repeated topping up is not a substitute for finding a leak. Our Aston Martin AC repair page covers the service options.

Servicing and parts choices

Scheduled servicing and parts choices

A weekend car can reach a time-based service deadline before its mileage interval. We compare the applicable Aston Martin owner’s guide and schedule with your service history before recommending due work.

  • Match the oil and quantity to the engine. A single oil grade or capacity does not cover the Aston Martin range.
  • List what is actually due. Filters, plugs and fluids should follow the applicable schedule and condition, not a blanket replacement list.
  • Keep an itemized service record. The invoice should show the date, mileage, work completed, parts and fluid specification. Ask about service-book entries when booking. Access to a manufacturer’s digital record must be checked for the vehicle; a service-light reset is not a history update.
  • Discuss the way you use the car. Extended parking, short journeys, dust and heat can justify particular checks. Distinguish those recommendations from manufacturer-required intervals.

Three ways to read an estimate

Three Aston Martin estimate examples

Illustrative examples using the estimated ranges above, including 5% VAT. These explain what a quotation should contain; they are not completed customer jobs.

DB11 V8 routine service

Example application A 2019 DB11 V8 with an oil service due and no additional fault assumed.

  • Specified oil and compatible filter
  • Service labor and routine checks
  • Invoice with mileage and fluid details

AED 1,600–2,700

What changes the estimate Extra scheduled filters, plugs or a confirmed leak. Compare those separately instead of buying a larger package without checking what is due.

DB9 steel front brakes

Example application An earlier DB9 with steel front discs confirmed, where inspection shows both discs and the pad set need replacement.

  • Two compatible front discs and one pad set
  • Named parts supplier and fitting
  • Hub, wear and braking checks

AED 2,700–5,300

What changes the estimate A seized caliper, hydraulic fault or different brake equipment. Carbon-ceramic work requires a separate parts quote.

Earlier Vantage manual clutch

Example application A 2014 V8 Vantage manual with clutch wear confirmed by inspection.

  • Clutch kit identified for the car
  • Removal, refitting and applicable setup
  • Checks of the original driving complaint

AED 12,600–26,300

What changes the estimate A damaged flywheel or additional components. A Sportshift quotation also needs its applicable hydraulic and setup requirements.

We are an independent British car repair workshop. Manufacturer warranty claims, campaigns and restricted software work may require the authorized network.

What happens at the workshop

Our workshop uses Autel diagnostic equipment for supported systems, alongside live-data checks and physical testing. Tool coverage varies by vehicle and function, so programming, clutch setup and calibration requirements are checked before accepting that work.

  1. Initial assessment We listen to the complaint and agree the diagnostic checks. The initial fault-diagnosis appointment is usually 30–60 minutes; an intermittent fault can need further testing.
  2. Finding and estimate We explain the fault, recommended work and suitable parts options. The quotation separates parts, labor, additional testing and VAT, with warranty terms for the proposed repair.
  3. Parts and repair timing We distinguish the parts delivery estimate from workshop labor time. Imported components, machining or specialist procedures can extend the job.
  4. Repair and collection Approved work is followed by checks relating to the original complaint. Keep the itemized invoice with your service history.

Aston Martin repair questions

Cost is only part of the decision. The included checks, parts, timing and written terms deserve a clear answer too.

How much does Aston Martin servicing cost in Dubai?

Use AED 1,600–2,700 as an indicative routine V8 service budget and AED 3,700–7,400 for a larger scheduled service. These planning ranges include 5% VAT. The final quote depends on the exact engine, due items, oil quantity and parts option. A V12 or unusual specification needs its own estimate.

Which inspection checks are free?

The initial visual assessment is free. Computer scanning and initial fault diagnosis cost AED 150–350 including 5% VAT for the agreed checks. Extended testing, dismantling, programming and repairs are separate. A diagnostic fee is credited toward repair only when that credit is stated in your quotation.

Can I bring an older Vantage, DB9 or Rapide?

You can request an inspection for an older Aston Martin. Send the model year, engine and gearbox details first so the workshop can check the job requirements and parts option. Rare variants, manufacturer programming and specialist procedures need a capability check before booking; a general scan does not guarantee access to every function.

Does a jerky Sportshift gearbox always need a new clutch?

No. Clutch wear is one possibility, but hydraulic operation, stored faults and the required setup also need assessment. Sportshift is an automated manual system. Advice for a later conventional automatic should not be applied to it without identifying the transmission.

Can I drive with a warning light or suspension fault?

A message alone is not enough to judge whether driving is safe. Stop when safe for overheating, low oil pressure, a flashing engine light with rough running, loss of braking or a collapsed suspension corner. Switch the engine off where appropriate and arrange recovery. Do not open a hot coolant cap. Share the exact message and symptoms when calling.

How long will the repair take?

Initial fault diagnosis is usually a 30–60-minute appointment, although intermittent faults or mechanical tests can take longer. Repair timing has two parts: obtaining the correct components and completing the approved work. We discuss both before you commit, then update you if additional findings or parts delays affect completion.

Can I choose genuine or alternative parts?

Ask for separate options where a suitable alternative exists. The quote should name the genuine part or identified supplier, confirm fitment and state the warranty. A cheaper part is useful only if it suits the application. Used brakes, steering or other safety-critical parts should not be a cost-saving shortcut.

What warranty comes with the repair?

Coverage depends on the parts and repair agreed. Before approval, the written terms should identify the covered work, duration, any mileage limit and exclusions. Keep the invoice and contact our team with the invoice number and symptoms if a concern returns. Manufacturer parts, aftermarket components and rebuilt assemblies may have different terms.

Will independent servicing affect my manufacturer warranty?

Check the terms of your vehicle warranty, service plan or extended cover before booking. Keep itemized invoices and records of the specified parts and fluids. Manufacturer campaigns, software access and warranty-funded repairs may need an authorized dealer. This workshop is independent and does not decide a manufacturer’s claim.

Can you arrange pickup or recovery?

Yes, pickup or recovery can be arranged subject to your location, vehicle condition and availability. Any charge is agreed before dispatch. Tell us if the car will not run, sits unusually low or has a suspension fault so the transport and loading arrangements suit the vehicle.
