Know what you are choosing

A better finish.
Easier everyday care.

Ceramic coating forms a thin protective layer over suitable, prepared paint. It helps with routine cleaning and surface protection, but the car will still need regular care.

01

A clearer, glossier finish

Preparation improves the finish; the coating helps preserve that result. Swirls need suitable polishing first because coating does not remove them.

02

Water sheds more easily

A water-repellent surface can make washing and drying easier. Dust still settles, and mineral-rich water can still leave spots if it dries on the paint.

03

Protection with clear limits

Coating does not make paint scratch-proof, stop stone chips or repair peeling clear coat. Choosing the right service starts with the problem you want to solve.

Plan the whole job

Estimated ceramic coating costs in Dubai

The bottle is only part of the job. Vehicle size, paint condition, correction time and the exact coating system all affect the price.

Light polishing + ceramic coatingAED 1,500–2,200

Sedan estimate. Includes washing, decontamination, light single-stage polishing where suitable, coating of exterior painted panels and curing.

SUV estimate: AED 1,900–2,800

More correction + ceramic coatingAED 2,200–3,500

Sedan estimate for additional polishing to reduce suitable swirls and haze before coating. We assess the paint before agreeing how far correction can go.

SUV estimate: AED 2,800–4,500

Estimates include coating materials, the preparation described, application, curing and 5% VAT. Premium coating systems or unusually large vehicles may cost more. Repainting, film, wheel coating, glass and interior protection are separate. We name the coating product and confirm the total in writing before work.

A better finish for your budget

Pay for the preparation your paint needs

Two cars can need very different amounts of polishing. We assess the finish first, then recommend where the extra work will make a visible difference.

New or well-kept car

Keep the preparation light

If the paint is already in good condition, washing, decontamination and light polishing may be enough. There is no reason to charge for heavy correction that adds little improvement.

Swirls showing in sunlight

Put more of the budget into polishing

Coating will not remove those marks. Suitable correction before application gives the coating a better-looking finish to protect.

Already has a coating

Assess it before starting over

Poor water beading can come from contamination. We assess whether compatible cleaning or maintenance can help before recommending removal and a full recoat.

The work underneath matters

Prepare the paint before protecting it

We first check the finish and discuss the improvement you want. Where swirls or haze need attention, paint polishing can improve the surface before coating. New cars still need inspection, but do not automatically need extensive correction.

  1. Clean and decontaminateWash the paint and remove deposits that remain bonded to it, using products suited to the finish. A normal wash may not remove all contamination.
  2. Assess and correctAgree how much polishing is suitable for the swirls and light defects present. Explain which marks may remain before starting.
  3. Prepare, apply and levelRemove polishing residue and dry the surface. Apply the coating evenly and level excess product within the manufacturer’s working time.
  4. Allow curing and check the finishCheck for streaks or uneven patches and allow the required curing time. Explain when the car can get wet and when it can be washed.

Choose protection by purpose

Ceramic coating, wax or PPF?

These products do different jobs. Tell us whether your priority is easier washing, lower initial cost or protection against road debris.

OptionMain reason to choose itWhat to keep in mind
Wax or sealantGloss and a simpler starting point for surface protection.Needs renewal according to the product and wash routine.
Ceramic coatingLonger-lasting surface protection and easier cleaning when properly maintained.Preparation, cure time and maintenance matter. It does not absorb stone impacts.
Paint protection filmA physical film for areas exposed to chips and abrasion.Coverage, film quality, installation and edges affect the result. It cannot prevent every impact.

A compatible coating can sometimes be used over PPF or a wrap. The product must suit that material and finish, especially matte or satin surfaces.

Your starting point

Is your paint ready for coating?

The condition and type of finish determine the preparation. Tell us about recent paintwork or any protection already fitted.

New or well-kept paint

Still needs inspection and cleaning. Delivery marks or contamination can need attention before application.

Swirls and light scratches

Discuss suitable polishing first. A coating does not fill or remove these defects permanently.

Chips, peeling or deep damage

Chipped paint or peeling clear coat may need paint repair first. Freshly painted panels need the waiting period specified for that paint system before coating.

Matte paint, wraps or an older coating

Tell us what is already on the car. Ordinary gloss polishing may damage a matte appearance, and an old coating may need assessment or removal.

Keep the finish looking good

Aftercare starts at collection

The product determines when the car can get wet and when it can first be washed. Follow the instructions supplied at collection and contact us if rain, water or contamination reaches the coating during early curing.

  • Use a shampoo suitable for the coating and clean wash equipment.
  • Avoid dry-wiping a dusty car and abrasive automatic brushes.
  • Clean bird droppings and other contamination promptly using a safe method.
  • Dry the car after washing to reduce mineral spotting.
  • Ask before polishing, claying or using strong chemicals on coated paint.

If water stops beading, contamination or a worn top layer may be responsible. Ask for an assessment before paying for the whole car to be recoated. We provide the product name, application date and care instructions for future maintenance.

Before you decide

Ceramic coating questions, answered

How much is ceramic coating in Dubai?

Light polishing with exterior paint coating is estimated at AED 1,500–2,200 for a sedan or AED 1,900–2,800 for an SUV. More paint correction with coating is around AED 2,200–3,500 for a sedan or AED 2,800–4,500 for an SUV. Prices include 5% VAT. Premium systems and unusually large vehicles are quoted separately.

Does ceramic coating stop scratches and stone chips?

No. It provides surface protection and easier cleaning, but it is not scratch-proof and does not provide meaningful impact protection from stones. Discuss PPF if protection from road debris is your main priority.

How long will the coating last?

Durability depends on the product, preparation and ongoing care. We identify the coating and its maintenance needs before application. If it carries a warranty, we explain coverage, required maintenance and any ongoing charges in writing. An advertised lifespan is not the same as a warranty.

Does my new car need paint correction first?

Not necessarily. We inspect it for contamination, delivery marks and swirls. Some cars need only light preparation; others benefit from suitable polishing. The work should follow the actual condition.

Can ceramic coating be applied over PPF or a wrap?

A compatible product may be suitable. Tell us the film or wrap type, age and finish so it can be assessed. Matte and satin finishes need particular care to preserve their appearance.

When can I wash the car after coating?

Use the first-wash and curing instructions for the product applied to your car. Requirements vary. We explain these at collection, including what to do if the surface gets wet or contaminated early.

Are wheels, glass and the interior included?

Only if listed in the agreed quote. These surfaces need suitable products and their own preparation. We list the covered surfaces so the full price is clear.

Does a 9H rating mean scratch-proof paint?

No. In coating descriptions, 9H refers to pencil-hardness testing. It does not mean the finished paint resists every scratch or stone chip. We explain the named product and its limits alongside the preparation and price.

Are more coating layers always better?

Layer counts only make sense for the named product. Some systems need one coat; others allow or require more. Compare the manufacturer’s application requirements, preparation and expected durability. A higher layer count alone does not establish a better result.
