Workshop collection

Car Pickup and Drop-Off in Dubai

Getting your car serviced should not mean rearranging your whole day. Arrange collection for workshop maintenance or repairs, then have your car returned after the work and final checks.

Share your location, vehicle details and preferred collection time.

Vehicle key handover before a workshop collection

Free pickup and drop-off

Ask us to include free collection and return with your workshop booking. Availability depends on your location, vehicle condition and the collection schedule.

Book collection alongside the workshop work you need, such as scheduled servicing, an AC complaint, brake repairs or a fault assessment. Share where the car is parked and what it needs before handing over the keys.

Confirm the offer for your booking

Agree both collection and return locations and whether any transport charge applies to your particular request before the car is collected.

Workshop work quoted separately

Servicing, parts, repair labour and any additional investigation are separate from the transport arrangement. You receive the repair quotation before work starts.

Will the car be driven or transported?

A planned service visit and a broken-down car need different arrangements. Tell us about any starting, braking, steering or tyre problem when you enquire.

The collection arrangement depends on the vehicle and its condition.

A car that can be driven

Confirm whether your booking uses a collection driver or vehicle transport. A pickup request does not by itself specify a flatbed. Mention any fault that could affect the journey, even if the car still starts.

A car that cannot move normally

If the car will not start, has accident damage or may be unsafe to drive, describe the fault and its current position. Ask about suitable car recovery instead of driving it to a more convenient pickup point.

Collection takes the car to our Al Quoz workshop; it is not an on-site repair appointment. Emergency assistance and towing should not be assumed to be included in the free collection offer.

Pickup from home or work

Start with a call or WhatsApp message. For a request from Al Quoz, Business Bay, Al Barsha, Dubai Marina or another Dubai area, send the exact location so the team can check collection availability for that address.

  • 01

    Your car

Make and model, the service you need or a short description of the problem.

  • 02

    Its location

A location pin and parking details. Mention a basement, security gate, height restriction or locked space.

  • 03

    A suitable time

Your preferred day, a collection window that fits your plans and a contact who can be reached at handover.

  • 04

    Anything unusual

Tell us if the car is immobilised or has a problem with starting, access or moving normally.

EVs, low cars and restricted access

The right collection arrangement also depends on where the car is parked and how it can be moved. Share these details before a vehicle or driver is sent.

Electric vehicles

Give the exact model and say whether it wakes up, enters Drive or remains connected to a charger.

Recovery must follow that model’s manufacturer instructions. Some EVs need all wheels off the ground during transport; selecting Neutral is not a substitute for the correct method.

Low ground clearance

Mention lowered suspension, a low front splitter or a fitted body kit.

A side photograph can help explain the clearance that needs checking before loading is arranged.

Basement parking

Send the parking level, entrance height restriction and access details. A recovery truck may not reach the bay itself.

Mention locked wheels, steering problems or a parking brake that will not release so the equipment needed can be assessed.

Before handing over the keys

  • Record the car’s condition

Remove valuables and personal items. Photograph the bodywork and wheels, and note the mileage and fuel or charge level. Record any accessories or keys handed over with the car.

  • Check the collection details

Point out existing damage and problems with the doors, locks, alarm or starting system. Confirm the person arriving matches the collection details before releasing the keys. Keep their name and the handover time with your booking record.

  • Include the wheel key if needed

Leave the locking wheel-nut key in an agreed place if the booked work involves removing a wheel.

  • Keep useful records available

Details of recent work can help when the current problem began after another repair.

  • Confirm who can authorise collection

Tell us if the car is rented, leased or company-owned, and check who can authorise its collection and repair. Have registration details available if requested; the first enquiry does not require sending identity documents.

From workshop arrival to return

You can arrange work without waiting at the garage. Use a contact number that reaches the person who can approve the work.

Workshop assessment helps establish the work and expected completion time.
  1. 1

    Assessment and your approval

Once the car has been assessed, the team explains the repair and quotation so you can decide how to proceed. Collection itself is not approval for an unspecified repair.

  2. 2

    Discuss any changes

If the assessment changes what the car needs, discuss any additional work and its effect on the total and timing before agreeing to it.

  3. 3

    Arrange the return

The collection appointment is not a promise that every repair will finish that day. The return depends on the work required, parts availability and completion checks.

Agree the return address and who will receive the car. Contact the workshop if your plans change before a return journey is arranged.

  4. 4

    Check the car at handover

Check the car against your handover record, including the keys and accessories. Review the completed work, remaining recommendations and service-specific aftercare. Keep the invoice and service information with the vehicle’s records.

If you notice new damage, a missing item or an unresolved fault, photograph or describe it and contact the workshop promptly so it can be reviewed against the collection record.

Pickup questions

Can someone else hand over my car?

Tell us when booking if a family member, colleague or another authorised person will be present. Agree the contact details and key handover in advance, particularly where building security controls access.

Can I change the return address?

Ask before the return is arranged. The team needs the new location and receiving person’s details to check whether the change can be accommodated.

What if I cancel or do not approve the repair?

Contact the workshop as soon as your plans change. Clarify any inspection or transport charges and how the car will be returned. If you are booking an assessment before deciding on repairs, agree these terms before collection; a free pickup offer does not establish the cancellation terms.

Can you collect from outside Dubai?

Send the collection and return addresses before booking. The team needs to confirm whether the journey can be arranged and quote any transport charge. Do not assume an arrangement available for a Dubai booking applies to another emirate.

How is insurance handled during collection?

Ask who will collect the vehicle, whether it will be driven or transported, and which insurance and vehicle-handling terms apply to that arrangement. Have this clarified before handover, especially for a rented, leased or company-owned car.
