A scan points us toward a system, then we check the relevant power supply, sensors, intake, ignition or mechanical condition. A fault code alone does not prove a component has failed.

What needs attention on your Genesis?
Tell us what changed and when it happens. We use the exact model, service history and a focused inspection to select the next check.
We identify the installed gearbox and inspect fluid condition, leaks, control data and related mounts. Fluid service, a targeted repair and replacement have very different costs.
Cabin cooling and engine cooling are separate systems. AC diagnosis can include compressor operation and leak testing. An overheating engine needs a safe cooling-system assessment before it is driven farther.
We inspect pads, discs, calipers, tires, steering and suspension to find which parts actually need work. Alignment cannot cure a worn joint or bent part.
The model shapes the repair
The year, engine, drivetrain and fitted equipment tell us which parts and procedures belong on the estimate.
G70, G80 and G90
Sedans need the correct engine, brake and electrical parts by model year and variant. We can assess service, drivability, AC, brakes, suspension and body concerns before agreeing a repair.
GV70 and GV80
For SUVs we verify the fitted drivetrain, wheel size, suspension equipment and climate system. A wheel-end noise, 4WD concern or cooling issue is diagnosed before recommending an assembly.
GV60 and electrified models
These need a different maintenance path. Ordinary tire, brake, cabin and 12-volt concerns can be discussed, but high-voltage work requires confirmed qualified equipment and procedure. We will confirm capability before accepting that work.
The older Hyundai Genesis and Genesis Coupe are separate vehicle lines. If that is your car, tell us the year and VIN so it is not assigned the wrong schedule or parts. You can also review our Hyundai Genesis repair page.
Plan the repair budget
Compare the scope as well as the price. A service visit and a mechanical repair include different parts and labor.
All amounts include 5% VAT. These independent workshop ranges help plan the visit. The exact model, fitted parts and confirmed work determine the written quote.
Maintenance and checks
Initial computer diagnosis
Agreed scan and initial checks where system access is available. Extended testing is separately approved.
Oil and filter service
Correctly specified oil, filter, labor and basic leak and level checks. Engine and oil quantity change the total.
Major maintenance visit
Oil service plus the filters and checks due for the exact schedule. Plugs, fluids and extra parts are itemized.
Brake pads on one axle
Suitable pads, fitting and final brake checks. Discs, sensors and damaged hardware are separately priced.
Repairs and replacement
Pads and discs on one axle
Two discs, a compatible pad set, fitting and final checks. Performance brake parts can cost more.
12-volt battery replacement
Compatible battery, installation and charging-system check. Registration or coding is confirmed by model.
Wheel alignment
Four-wheel measurement and adjustment where components and vehicle condition permit.
A free initial visual assessment excludes chargeable computer diagnosis, dismantling and repair. Major engine and transmission work needs a vehicle-specific estimate.
Send the model, year and work required. We will explain parts and labor before approval.
Engine, gearbox and daily drivability
We test the cause and compare the work before a major assembly is considered.
Find the cause before ordering parts
On petrol G70, G80, G90, GV70 and GV80 variants, rough running, oil loss and a check-engine light can call for very different work. We confirm the engine and service history, inspect for external leaks and cooling faults, review diagnostic data, and test the suspected system before quoting. Read how engine repair diagnosis moves from a symptom to an approved scope. Turbocharged versions need particular attention to the correct oil specification and the exact leak or boost fault, without assuming every power complaint is a turbocharger failure.
Repair, rebuild or replace
When internal damage is suspected, the decision may be a targeted component repair, a rebuild or an engine replacement. We explain the additional testing and parts route before any dismantling. For gearbox concerns, we distinguish fluid service and adaptation checks from electrical or mechanical repair. Our transmission repair guide explains those different paths. A delayed engagement can also be related to a mount or driveline issue, so a complete transmission is not the automatic answer.
What we confirm before the quote
- Maintenance follows the year and engine schedule in the vehicle’s manual rather than a universal 10,000 km rule.
- We confirm whether genuine or suitable quality aftermarket parts are available and how each option affects the quote.
- If a recall, active factory coverage or software campaign may apply, check the VIN with the authorized network before paying for overlapping work.
Brakes, steering and suspension
Noise, vibration and a steering pull can have different causes. We inspect the fitted parts, show what is worn and price the work the car actually needs.

Brakes that pulse, scrape or feel weak
We measure pad thickness and disc condition, then check caliper movement and hydraulics. If the discs remain serviceable, we can quote pads alone. See the brake repair scope for the checks behind that choice. If they do not, the estimate compares the matched disc and pad work.
A pull, clunk or uneven tire wear
We check tires, control arms, bushings, dampers, steering joints and alignment readings. Worn parts are identified before alignment, with sedan or SUV fitment confirmed from the exact vehicle.
Warnings after related work
We can check low-voltage power, charging, lighting and cabin electronics. If glass, body or suspension work affects a camera or safety system, the required calibration is discussed before approval. Clearing a warning alone is not a repair.
AC, cooling, bodywork and glass
Cabin comfort, engine temperature and exterior damage each need their own assessment.
Trace the source of heat
Weak AC in traffic may involve airflow, refrigerant loss, electrical control or a compressor. We measure the system and trace leaks before a recharge or replacement. The AC repair page explains the diagnostic steps. An overheating warning is different. Stop when safe and arrange recovery if the temperature rises sharply, steam appears or coolant is lost. Opening a hot pressurized cap is unsafe.
Agree the repair and finish
Body and paint work starts with a damage assessment and an agreed finish. A small cosmetic dent, a panel that needs repainting and collision damage affecting a sensor or mount have different repair paths. We can inspect glass damage and discuss whether repair or replacement is suitable, along with any required camera recalibration. The fitted price should identify the part, labor, paint materials and any setup work.
Trace a no-start or warning
Starting and warning concerns need a separate low-voltage check. We test the 12-volt battery, charging supply and affected circuit before recommending a starter, sensor or control unit. A camera, parking aid or driver-assistance warning after glass or body work may also require setup or calibration for the fitted equipment. Share the exact message and when it appeared. A fault code helps direct testing, but clearing it alone does not resolve an active fault.
Ask us about upholstery, tires, wheel alignment, pre-purchase inspection and recovery when those are part of the same visit. We will keep the estimate limited to the work you approve and identify what a further inspection may reveal.

Understand the repair choice
Three representative situations show how the approved scope changes a quote. These are planning examples, not customer job records.
The estimate names the exact parts, labor, VAT, diagnostic stage and applicable warranty before work begins.
GV70 scheduled service
Specified oil and filter with due checks can sit around AED 350 to 700. Extra filters, plugs or fluids belong on separate lines so the owner can compare a minor visit with a major one.
G80 front brake concern
Pad-only work may be around AED 650 to 1,400 for one axle. If measured discs also need replacement, the comparable fitted scope can rise to around AED 1,100 to 3,000.
GV80 AC concern
Start with AED 150 to 350 for agreed diagnosis. A compressor, leak repair or contaminated system is quoted only after testing, with refrigerant and related parts itemized.
From concern to an approved repair
We confirm the first check, explain the findings and test the result before handover.
Tell us the vehicle
Send the model, year, mileage, symptom and any warning shown. A photo of the warning when parked can help. We check whether the vehicle should be driven or recovered.
Confirm the check
At the Al Quoz workshop, we agree the initial scope. If a scan or dismantling is needed, we tell you the separate charge before proceeding.
Choose the repair
We explain the finding, compare suitable parts routes and send a written estimate. Work starts after approval, followed by the relevant final test and handover notes. The invoice should name the fitted parts and the agreed warranty. Ask which symptoms to watch for and whether any follow-up check is due.
Genesis repair questions
Find the answer for your car, then share the model and concern if you need a vehicle-specific quote.
How much is Genesis repair in Dubai?
It depends on the job and the exact variant. Agreed initial computer diagnosis is estimated at AED 150 to 350 including VAT, oil and filter service at AED 300 to 650, and one-axle pads at AED 650 to 1,400. We give a written fitted quote for the confirmed work.
Is an initial inspection free?
The initial visual assessment is free. Computer diagnosis, additional tests, dismantling and repairs are separate and agreed before chargeable work starts.
How often should a Genesis be serviced?
Follow the schedule for the exact year, engine and market in the owner’s manual. Time, mileage and driving conditions can all affect what is due. Bring the service record so we can avoid unnecessary repeat work.
Can you work on a GV60 or Electrified GV70?
We can discuss ordinary tires, brakes, cabin items and 12-volt concerns. High-voltage battery, charging or drive-system work needs confirmed technician qualifications, isolation equipment and procedure. We check that capability for the exact task before accepting it.
Does a gearbox warning mean replacement?
No. We first identify the installed transmission and check relevant faults, fluid condition, leaks, control information and related driveline parts. A service, targeted repair or replacement follows the actual finding and an agreed quote.
Can I choose genuine or aftermarket parts?
Where a suitable alternative is available, we can compare genuine and quality aftermarket parts by fit, cost, lead time and warranty. Some safety and electronic items may need a specific approved part. We state the selected route on the estimate.
What if my Genesis is overheating?
Stop safely if the temperature climbs sharply, coolant is lost or steam appears. Do not open a hot coolant cap. Arrange recovery and let us assess the leak, thermostat, pump, fan, radiator and possible secondary damage as appropriate.
Can you repair a dent or damaged windshield?
We can assess body, paint and glass work. Repairability depends on damage location and severity. Where a camera or safety system is affected, the estimate should include the required setup or calibration route.
What about factory warranty or recalls?
We are an independent garage. Check active factory warranty claims, recalls and service campaigns against your VIN with the authorized Genesis network. Ask us to separate work you may want the dealer to handle from independently quoted repairs.
What details should I send for a quote?
Send the model, year, mileage, symptom or required service, and any existing estimate. A VIN can be useful for exact parts fitment. We confirm the inspection and quote steps before work begins.
