The first question to answer

Keep suitable original glass
A suitable repair can avoid removing the complete windshield. The damage is assessed, treated with the appropriate repair system and checked afterward.
The result depends on the type and condition of the chip. Before starting, we explain how much the appearance is likely to improve and whether replacement would be more suitable.
Avoid pressing on the damaged area, DIY drilling or abrasive polishing. Keep dirt and moisture out as far as practical, and avoid sudden temperature changes across the glass.
Do not assume an edge crack can be repaired just because it looks small. Its position matters.
Choose the correct replacement
Two windshields can look similar and still have different specifications. The replacement must suit the vehicle and the equipment attached to it.

The glass needs the correct mounts and clear viewing areas for the driver-assistance camera, rain sensor and other fitted equipment. We also check the manufacturer’s restrictions on repairs in the camera’s viewing area.
The replacement may need to work with a head-up display, reduce road noise or limit heat from sunlight, depending on the original glass.
