Vans and other models

Discuss load use, access and downtime. Imported diesel and electrified versions need individual confirmation.

Send the model, year and original market. For e-208, e-2008 and hybrid models, confirm the specific job first. High-voltage work and protected programming need a capability check.

Peugeot service and repair price guide

Compare the complete fitted job. Parts quality, access, damage and required setup matter as much as the part price.

General workshop estimates including 5% VAT. Planning figures, not fixed Peugeot packages.

A free visual assessment can help plan the visit. Agree paid testing first. Timing work, gearbox repairs, accident damage and specialist electrical work need individual quotations.

Plan the right Peugeot service

Use the applicable maintenance schedule and previous invoices. A fixed mileage label does not tell you everything the car needs.

Technician checking engine oil in a workshop

The oil approval and quantity must match the engine. Viscosity alone does not identify the right oil.

Oil and filter service
Use the applicable oil approval, quantity and filter. Check visible leaks, renew required drain seals and record the completed work.
Maintenance items due
Air and cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid and coolant follow the relevant time and mileage schedule. Agree each item before calling the visit a major service. Ask which condition checks are included for brakes, tyres, battery and visible leaks. A low fluid level may require investigation rather than a top-up.
Timing system care
Identify whether the engine has a belt or chain. Some earlier PureTech engines use a belt running in oil. Inspection and replacement requirements are specific to the engine and service history.
Service records
Keep invoices and recommendations. Reset the indicator for completed maintenance. Manufacturer digital records, campaigns and warranty eligibility are confirmed separately.

Peugeot engine and cooling repairs

Once the engine is identified, we can compare a component repair, internal repair or replacement where suitable.

PureTech and timing systems

Match the repair to the engine

Peugeot has acknowledged timing-belt degradation and oil-consumption issues on specific earlier PureTech generations. This does not mean every PureTech has a wet belt or the same fault.

For a fitted wet-belt system, assess belt condition and any related oil-pressure concern. A belt change alone may not address contamination or existing damage. Bring previous oil-service invoices and note any recent oil top-ups or warnings. The replacement interval comes from the applicable service requirements, not a universal mileage for all Peugeots.

Engine repair and rebuilding

Other engine and cooling work

  • For 1.6 THP and other petrol engines, investigate misfires, leaks, fuel delivery, turbo performance and timing noise according to the fitted engine.
  • Pressure-test cooling leaks and check pumps, thermostats, radiators and fans before choosing the repair.
  • On imported diesel or BlueHDi versions, distinguish engine faults from DPF, EGR or AdBlue/SCR concerns. Confirm equipment and parts availability for the task.

For a local repair, compare the component, seals, fluids and final checks. For internal damage, agree dismantling first so measurements can determine machining and parts. A replacement engine quotation should identify compatibility, condition, included ancillaries and warranty. Manufacturer support and recalls go through the authorised Peugeot retailer. Eligibility depends on the vehicle and local programme.

For a red oil-pressure warning, overheating or severe sudden engine noise, stop safely and switch off. Arrange help before continuing.

Choose the correct Peugeot gearbox work

Select the type fitted to your car. Model name and year alone may not identify the transmission.

Choose your Peugeot gearbox type

Automatic gearbox repairs

EAT6 and EAT8 are conventional automatic transmissions. Older automatics and other fitted units need their own fluid and repair procedure.

A scheduled fluid service, a control fault and internal wear are different jobs. Assess delayed engagement, harsh shifts, slipping or warnings before selecting the work. Tell us whether it happens cold, hot or under load. Compare the specified fluid and level procedure for a service, or the included components, setup and final checks for a repair.

Manual and automated manual

A manual clutch repair may involve the clutch kit, hydraulics and flywheel condition. Agree what the fitted price includes.

ETG and other automated manuals add actuator and control requirements. Identify the actual gearbox rather than treating it as an EAT automatic. Ask whether the quote covers the clutch, release components and any required actuator setup. The flywheel is assessed separately rather than automatically included or excluded.

Hybrid and electric drive

Hybrid transmissions and electric drive units differ from petrol automatics. Mechanical maintenance does not imply high-voltage repair capability.

Contact us with the model and exact task. Confirm safe equipment, programming access and parts support before booking specialist work.

Transmission repair options

Gearbox inspection photograph. The actual unit and findings determine the parts, fluid and repair choice.

Brakes, tyres, steering and suspension

Address poor braking, unusual vibration or a suspension knock before it affects confidence in the car.

Workshop inspection of a brake disc surface with a torch

Compare the complete axle repair

Ask whether the price covers pads only, or discs and related hardware. Calipers, hoses, fluid and warning faults are checked separately.

Grinding, a fluid leak or reduced braking needs prompt assessment.

Braking

Noise, warning or poor braking

Inspect pads, discs and the hydraulic system. ABS and electronic parking-brake warnings need their own checks.

Wheels and tyres

Vibration or uneven wear

Check tyre pressure, wheel damage and mechanical play before balancing or alignment. Match tyre size, load and speed ratings, and correct the cause before fitting new tyres.

Suspension and steering

Knocks, poor ride or steering play

Inspect arms, bushes, joints, mounts and dampers. Assess steering assistance and relevant electrical faults. Agree component or rack repair, required setup and alignment.

Restore comfort and repair visible damage

These jobs can share a workshop visit with maintenance. Keep each item clear in the quotation.

AC and cabin comfort

What changes when the AC runs?

Tell us whether cooling changes at idle or on the move. Airflow, refrigerant pressures and leak checks help separate the jobs.

Weak airflow
Check the cabin filter, blower and airflow path.
Cooling drops again
Trace refrigerant loss before another recharge.
Repair choice
Recharge, blower repair and compressor replacement are separate work.

Battery and electrical faults

Test supply and charging before replacing parts. Match stop-start battery requirements.

  • For intermittent BSI, wiring, lighting, window or i-Cockpit faults, bring a photo and describe when they occur.
  • Battery discharge may need charging-system or current-drain checks rather than replacement alone.

Body, glass and interior work

Define the damaged area and finish before comparing the quotation.

  • Agree panel repair, paint area or replacement glass. Match fitted sensors and required calibration.
  • Upholstery, trim, detailing and protection depend on condition and materials.

Protected programming, immobiliser work, camera setup and high-voltage tasks require confirmed capability. Accident repairs follow reporting and insurer arrangements.

Arrange your Peugeot workshop visit

A clear estimate and agreed repair plan help you decide what to book.

Send the details we need

Your model, year and concern are enough to start. A warning or damage photo helps. Service history and the VIN can follow when parts or specifications need checking.

Agree the work before it begins

  • Compare genuine, OEM-equivalent and suitable aftermarket parts. Used or remanufactured assemblies need clear condition and warranty terms. Compare the maker, part number and whether labour, fluids, seals and setup are included. Ask what the warranty covers, its duration and how an issue is reported.
  • Confirm the full fitted price, testing charges and any additional approval needed. Extra repairs or dismantling require agreement.
  • Discuss parts availability and expected workshop time. Pickup and drop-off are by arrangement, with access and any charge confirmed. Stocked service parts and imported assemblies can have different lead times. Agree the estimate for your actual job before relying on a collection date.
  • At collection, review completed work, relevant checks, invoice, written warranty terms and remaining recommendations.

Questions before booking Peugeot repairs

How much does a Peugeot oil service cost?

Our general workshop oil and filter guide is AED 200–600. The fitted oil approval, quantity, filter and access determine your quotation. Other scheduled maintenance items are separate.

Does every PureTech engine use a wet timing belt?

No. Timing arrangements differ by engine and generation. Identify the fitted engine and use its applicable maintenance requirements before quoting inspection or replacement.

Can a gearbox oil change fix a warning?

Not necessarily. Fluid servicing and fault repairs are different jobs. Assess the warning, shift behaviour and fitted unit before choosing control repair, internal work or replacement.

Can you work on a hybrid or electric Peugeot?

Contact us with the model and exact task. Tyre, brake, body and low-voltage jobs are separate from high-voltage battery, charging and drive-system repairs. Specialist capability is confirmed before booking.

Do you provide pickup and a repair warranty?

Pickup and drop-off are by arrangement. Confirm availability, access and any charge before the visit. Warranty terms depend on the agreed repair and parts and should be recorded in writing.

Can you handle manufacturer recalls or support claims?

Manufacturer recalls, campaigns and support eligibility are handled by the authorised Peugeot retailer. We are an independent workshop. Keep your service records when discussing any claim.
