Choose your Ram model

Ram pickups differ in their engine, suspension and drivetrain. Choose your family below to see what matters for the work. Older Dodge Ram trucks are welcome too.

1500, Classic, Rebel, Laramie, Limited and Warlock

A 1500 may use a Pentastar V6, HEMI V8, EcoDiesel or Hurricane twin-turbo six-cylinder, depending on year and market. Selected 2026 Middle East Rebel and Limited models also have the returning 5.7-litre HEMI. We match oil, filters and replacement parts to the actual engine.

Air suspension, eTorque and four-wheel drive change some service procedures. Your trim badge is a useful starting point; we can establish the fitted equipment with you. Towing or lift and wheel changes are helpful context.

TRX and RHO require different parts

The earlier 6.2-litre supercharged TRX and 3.0-litre Hurricane RHO have different engines and fitted suspension. Cooling, induction, driveline and brake work must suit the truck rather than use a standard 1500 parts list.

We welcome enquiries about noise, power loss, servicing and damage after off-road use. Tell us about tuning or other changes if you know them. Specialist components, software access and parts availability are checked before that work is promised.

2500, 3500 and Power Wagon enquiries

Heavy-duty Ram trucks can use a 6.4-litre HEMI or 6.7-litre Cummins, depending on configuration. Brakes, axles, transmission and suspension differ from the 1500. Diesel fuel, boost and emissions work needs the appropriate testing support.

Contact us with your model and requested work. We confirm suitable workshop access and transport for dual rear wheels, large bodies or immobilised trucks. Engine and vehicle identification details can be collected when needed for parts or a specific procedure.

Engine repairs for noise and power loss

Tell us what changed. The symptom guides the checks, while the findings determine the repair.

Ticking or rough idle

What we check

  • Noise with the engine cold and warm
  • Oil level, pressure and misfire data
  • Relevant ignition and mechanical components

A tick alone does not prove camshaft or lifter damage.

Power loss or misfire

What we check

  • Petrol ignition, fuel delivery and compression
  • Diesel injection and boost where fitted
  • Air and cooling systems on Hurricane, TRX and turbo-diesel engines

Overheating or fluid loss

What we check

  • Radiator, hoses, pump, thermostat and fans
  • Pressure testing when needed to locate leaks
  • The cause of fluid loss before major engine work

Coolant loss alone does not establish head-gasket failure.

Choosing the repair

Targeted repair

For a confirmed external or serviceable component fault.

Engine rebuild

For internal wear assessed through measurements, with parts and machining priced.

Replacement engine

For major damage when a compatible assembly offers a suitable alternative. Confirm its supplied condition.

The quote includes the necessary parts and checks, plus correction of any oil-supply or cooling problem. Our engine repair service explains the options.

Gearbox and four-wheel-drive repairs

Compare the work by what it solves. Many 1500s use an eight-speed automatic, while heavy-duty gearboxes vary by year.

Gearbox service and repair choices
WorkWhen it appliesWhat to agree
Fluid serviceScheduled maintenance for the fitted gearbox. Fresh fluid is not a guaranteed cure for slipping.Fluid approval, filter or pan arrangement, fill procedure and service history.
Targeted repairA confirmed leak, wiring, sensor or serviceable component fault. The identified repair and completion checks.
Rebuild or replacementEstablished internal damage requiring more extensive work.Compatible components or assembly, labour, setup and written coverage. Approve removal and extended inspection first.

Fault history, leaks, fluid condition and relevant data guide the work.

When four-wheel drive will not engage

  • Tell us the selected mode, warning and when the fault happens.
  • Mention impacts, lift kits, tyre changes and towing use.
  • Checks may include the transfer case, differentials, driveshafts and joints.

Do not force repeated shifts when the truck refuses a mode. A controlled road test is considered only when appropriate.

Diesel reduced-power warning
Share the exact emissions or DEF message so we can identify the equipment and confirm testing support before booking.

Ram maintenance for daily use and towing

Build the service from your exact engine schedule, mileage and history. Separate work that is due from faults found during inspection.

Oil and filter

Specified engine oil and a compatible filter, with the oil quantity stated in your quotation.

Vehicle checks

  • Brakes, tyres, steering, suspension and joints
  • Visible leaks and battery connections
  • Air and cabin filters, lights and washer system

Scheduled replacements

Coolant, axle, transfer-case and transmission work when due. Fuel filters, plugs, belts and other fluids depend on the engine and schedule.

Brake, steering and suspension repairs

A braking complaint, vibration and uneven ride height need different checks. Start with what feels different when you drive.

Which brake work is needed?

Pads only

When the discs remain within the required condition and measurements.

Pads and discs

When wear or damage means both need replacement.

Further brake checks

Caliper, hose or ABS checks when wear is uneven or a warning appears.

Pad wear, disc condition and caliper movement are assessed together.

Steering and ride height

Vibration or looseness
Inspect tyres, bearings, steering joints, bushes, shocks and springs as appropriate.
Uneven air-suspension height
Check for leaks and system faults before ordering a compressor. Repeated compressor activity needs investigation.
Lift kits or oversized tyres
Check fitment and available adjustments before promising alignment results. Air-suspension trucks need the correct jack and alignment modes.

Ram AC service and cooling repairs

Warm air, weak airflow and different temperatures from the vents are different complaints. The estimate should separate refrigerant work from the component or cabin repair that is needed.

A recharge or a repair

A refrigerant service uses the specified gas and quantity. It can restore the correct charge, but it cannot seal an ongoing leak or repair a compressor.

When a failed component is found, the quote includes its replacement, necessary system procedures and refrigerant. Work behind the dashboard can involve more labour than an accessible hose or condenser.

Warm air
Assess refrigerant loss, compressor operation, condenser airflow and cooling fans. A change while stationary is useful to mention, especially if the engine temperature also rises.
Weak airflow
Check the cabin filter, blower and air distribution. A blocked filter or failed blower needs airflow work rather than more refrigerant.
Uneven vent temperatures
Check the fitted temperature and blend controls as well as system performance. Cabin-control repairs and a refrigerant recharge have different parts and labour.

Persistent smells or water in the cabin may involve filters, drainage or water entry. Describe what you notice when booking. We explain the findings before choosing cleaning, drainage work or a mechanical repair.

Ram battery, starting and electrical repairs

A flat battery, a no-start and a failed cabin function do not all need the same repair. We assess the complaint and power supply before recommending the battery, wiring or a control component.

Slow cranking or no start

Test the battery, cables, grounds and charging system. An engine that cranks normally but will not start also needs the appropriate engine checks. Repeated battery failure calls for investigating the reason it loses charge.

A warning that returns

Read relevant system information and test the affected circuit. Several warnings after a low-voltage event may share a supply problem. Clearing a message does not establish that the fault has been repaired.

Uconnect and accessories

Screen, camera, parking-sensor and powered-step faults may involve wiring, a component or software. Key programming, module setup and updates depend on the fitted equipment and available access. Describe the failed function and we will discuss the work.

Where eTorque is fitted

The 48-volt eTorque equipment is distinct from an ordinary 12-volt starter battery. Charging or stop-start complaints need the correct system checks and precautions. Manufacturer campaigns and warranty claims should be checked with the authorised Ram network.

Ram bodywork, glass and parts choices

Damage to a pickup can affect the load bed, tailgate and fittings as well as the painted panel. We inspect the area and explain repair, replacement and finishing work in the estimate.

Dents and paint
Accessible dents with intact paint may suit paintless repair. Scratches, wider damage and damaged paint can need preparation and refinishing. Paint matching and any blending into nearby panels belong in the quote.
Bumpers, bed and tailgate
Check attachment points and hidden damage before choosing repair or replacement. RamBox fittings, cameras, sensors and powered steps also need assessment when the impact affects them.
Glass and finishing
Match replacement glass and fittings, with camera calibration where required. Upholstery, trim, detailing, polishing and paint-protection enquiries can be discussed around the truck’s condition and the finish you want.

Photographs help an initial damage discussion but do not reveal every hidden fault. Insurance-funded work also needs the insurer’s required documents and approval. We explain the repair estimate without promising an insurance outcome.

Arrange your Ram workshop visit

Call or WhatsApp with your Ram model and the service or problem. You do not need a VIN or a diagnosis to start. We will help arrange the visit and collect further details when needed.

After assessment, we explain the findings, parts choices and fitted total. You approve the repairs before work begins. Additional work needs agreement, and parts availability affects completion.

Pickup and drop-off can be requested by arrangement. Availability and any charge are confirmed when booking. A broken-down or heavy-duty truck needs suitable recovery rather than ordinary collection.

Questions before booking Ram repairs

Answers about service costs, engine concerns, collection and choosing the next step.

How much does Ram servicing cost in Dubai?

The general higher-capacity oil and filter guide is AED 350–600 for many engines using 6–8 litres. The oil specification, fill quantity and filter determine the quote. A fuller scheduled service costs more when other items are due.

Can you inspect HEMI ticking or a misfire?

Yes. Describe whether the noise occurs cold or warm and any warning or rough running. The inspection can distinguish ignition, exhaust, lubrication or mechanical concerns. A tick alone is not proof that camshaft and lifters need replacement.

Do you accept Cummins and heavy-duty Ram enquiries?

Yes, contact us with the model and requested job. We discuss testing support, parts, workshop access and transport before arranging specialist or heavy-duty work. Further vehicle details can be collected when needed.

Does every Ram need the same service interval?

No. Use the maintenance schedule for the exact engine, year and market together with the oil reminder. Towing, heavy loading, off-road use and prolonged idling can affect the due work and applicable limits.

Can a gearbox service fix slipping?

A fluid service is maintenance, not a guaranteed repair for slipping. Check the fluid specification, leaks, fault data and the condition of the fitted gearbox before choosing service, targeted repair or internal work.

Can you arrange collection for a broken-down Ram?

Call with the model, location and what happened. We discuss suitable recovery and confirm arrangements. Pickup and drop-off depend on availability; any charge is agreed when booking.

What should I check before buying a used Ram?

Review service records, previous damage, import history and modifications. Agree checks of the engine, gearbox, four-wheel drive, suspension and accessible electronics. Ask about recall information for the VIN through the authorised network. An inspection cannot guarantee future reliability.
