Service and repair for your SEAT model

The badge alone does not identify the engine, gearbox or brake equipment. These model groups help you send the details that change the work and parts required.

Ibiza and Arona
For a hatchback or compact SUV, confirm the engine and whether the car is manual or automatic. Wheel size and brake equipment also affect tyre and brake quotations.
Leon and Leon ST
Identify the generation and powertrain, including TSI petrol, TDI diesel or an electrified import. FR and older SEAT Cupra variants need the actual fitted brake and drivetrain details.
Ateca and Tarraco
Confirm two-wheel drive or 4Drive where fitted. Gearbox, driveline and rear coupling maintenance are separate jobs with their own fluid and parts requirements.
Toledo, Altea and Alhambra
For older cars, provide the service history and VIN. Age, previous repairs and parts availability matter more than applying a current-model service package.
Exeo, Mii and unusual imports
Send the exact specification first. A Mii electric or Leon e-HYBRID needs its electrified systems identified. High-voltage battery, charging and protected programming work require individual acceptance.

SEAT repair costs and what affects the quote

Use these published general workshop figures as background when planning your visit. They are not fixed SEAT package prices or a complete estimate for every repair.

General workshop guidance. Your written quotation confirms the job, fitted total and VAT treatment.
WorkPublished guidanceWhat to confirm
General maintenanceAED 200–600Per agreed service
VAT confirmed in the quote
Oil, filter and the agreed checks. Confirm oil specification, quantity and any additional filters or fluids.
Scan and targeted diagnosisAED 150–350Per agreed assessment
Including 5% VAT
The checks required for the reported fault. Repair parts and labour are separate.
AC workAED 250–800Per agreed job
VAT confirmed in the quote
The accepted recharge, cleaning or repair work. A compressor or major leak repair needs its own estimate.
Minor body and paint workAED 500–2,000Per agreed repair area
VAT confirmed in the quote
Damage, panel area, finish and access. Collision damage or replacement panels need an itemised quotation.

Engine repairs, DSG work, brake replacement and larger jobs are quoted for the actual components and labour. We discuss additional findings before extending the repair.

What your SEAT service should include

Bring the service record and mileage. We check the applicable schedule and separate planned maintenance from a warning light or running fault.

Oil and filter service

Oil and filter
Match the engine’s required approval, oil quantity and filter. Viscosity alone does not establish the correct oil.
Fitting and checks
Drain and refill, replace normal fitting consumables and check the final level. Report leakage or unusual oil loss for separate investigation.
Service record
Record the oil and filter work and the mileage. Reset the applicable reminder after the work is completed.
Other maintenance stays itemisedAir and cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant and gearbox work are added when due. Timing belt or chain work depends on the engine and findings, not one interval for every SEAT.

For routine maintenance, ask about our SEAT oil change service. Mention new symptoms when booking so they can be assessed separately.

Compare the repair options for your SEAT engine

The findings determine whether your car needs a component repair or more extensive engine work. Compare the complete fitted cost and warranty for the suitable options.

A local fault

Repair the affected component

When it applies
A confirmed leak, ignition fault or failed cooling component.
What to include
The part, access, seals, fluids and checks needed to complete the job.
Internal damage

Assess repair or rebuilding

When it applies
Internal wear or damage has been established.
What to compare
Dismantling, parts and machining. Agree the investigation charge before a strip-down.
An alternative unit

Compare an engine replacement

When it applies
A compatible replacement is a practical alternative to repairing the original engine.
What to compare
Condition, warranty and related fitting work. The unit price alone is not the installed total.

TSI running faults can involve ignition, fuel delivery, air leaks or boost control. Diesel complaints need checks for the fitted injection and emissions equipment. A cooling leak is traced to the affected component.

Ask about our SEAT engine repairs with your symptoms or existing findings.

For a red oil-pressure warning, overheating or severe sudden noise, stop safely and switch off. Call before continuing or arranging transport.

Separate gearbox maintenance from gearbox fault repair

Select the transmission fitted to your car. DSG clutch, control and internal faults are different from scheduled fluid maintenance.

Choose your transmission

Identify the DSG unit before choosing work

Wet-clutch and dry-clutch DSG units have different maintenance requirements. Identify the gearbox code before quoting fluid, filters, clutch work or mechatronic repairs.

Maintenance
Use the applicable service schedule, specified fluids and filter requirements. There is no single DSG fluid service for every model.
Fault repair
Judder, delayed engagement, warning messages or lost drive need the cause established. Compare the confirmed clutch, mechatronic or internal repair rather than replacing the complete unit by default.

Match the work to the fitted transmission

Manual clutch slip, difficult selection and an automatic shift fault need different checks. Confirm the transmission type and any previous changes before ordering parts.

Maintenance
Identify the correct lubricant, level procedure and any serviceable filter for the unit.
Fault repair
For a manual, distinguish clutch, hydraulic or linkage work from internal gearbox damage. For an automatic, compare a targeted repair, overhaul or compatible replacement after assessment.

Our transmission repair service explains the wider options. Where 4Drive is fitted, rear coupling and driveline work are quoted separately from gearbox maintenance.

Choose the service your SEAT needs next

Choose the work required for your brakes, steering, cabin comfort or bodywork. We match the repair to the fitted equipment and condition found.

Close view of a brake disc surface

Brakes, tyres and wheel vibration

Measure pads and discs, identify the fitted brake hardware and quote pads by axle. Discs, hydraulic or parking-brake work are added where needed.

For vibration, check tyres, wheel damage and braking components. Match tyre requirements and correct damage or wear before alignment.

Discuss SEAT brake repairs

Suspension and steering

Repair the worn bush, joint, bearing, damper or mounting. Include related fittings and alignment where needed. A steering warning needs relevant electrical and mechanical checks.

AC cooling and airflow

Check the filter and blower for weak airflow. Assess refrigerant, leaks and cooling operation for warm air. A recharge does not repair a continuing leak.

Battery and electrical work

Test the low-voltage battery and supply, starting or charging circuits. Match replacement type, capacity and adaptation. Wiring, coding and specialist software work are assessed individually.

Body, glass and trim

Compare panel repair with replacement and agree the paint area. Match glass sensors and calibration needs, plus trim materials and seat equipment. Collision or restraint damage needs assessment before cosmetic work.

For weak braking, unsafe steering or damaged tyres, call before driving. Tell us if the car needs transport to the workshop.

Confirm your quotation and prepare for the visit

A clear quote tells you what will be fitted. A planned appointment confirms when the parts and workshop are ready for your car.

Check your written quotation

Questions before booking your SEAT service or repair

These details help you choose the right visit without assuming one service package covers every model.

Are you an official SEAT service centre?

My Car Repair Dubai is an independent workshop operated by AMF Auto Services LLC in Al Quoz. We discuss the suitable maintenance or repair for your vehicle and confirm any specialist requirements before acceptance.

Is my initial assessment free?

The initial visual assessment is free. Computer scanning and targeted diagnosis are charged separately, with the checks and price agreed before work. Repairs follow their own quotation.

Does every DSG need the same oil service?

No. Identify the gearbox code and applicable schedule. Wet-clutch and dry-clutch units have different requirements, and scheduled maintenance is separate from a clutch, control or internal fault repair.

Can you work on a SEAT hybrid or electric import?

Send the exact model and requested work first. Ordinary brakes, tyres and low-voltage work are separate from high-voltage battery, charging or specialist control work. We confirm the relevant requirements before accepting the job.
