Red Tesla Model 3 viewed from the front

Tesla models and available repairs

Book routine maintenance or tell us about a new noise, warning, cooling problem or damaged panel. You do not need to identify the failed part.

Model 3 and Model Y

Maintenance, brakes, suspension, tires, alignment, cabin filters, AC, low-voltage electrical work and cosmetic repairs. Rear-wheel drive, Dual Motor, Performance and refreshed versions can use different brake parts, wheels and auxiliary batteries. We identify the fitted version when preparing the estimate.

Model S and Model X

Mechanical wear, wheels, cooling, electrical accessories and bodywork. Air-equipped cars need checks of the air springs, supply and height controls when a corner drops. Model X door, seal and glass repairs must account for its falcon-wing equipment.

Imported and less common models

Contact us about an imported Tesla, Roadster or Cybertruck with the work you need. Original-market charging hardware and replacement-part specifications can differ. Registration details or a VIN may help later when a particular component needs matching.

Specialist electrical work

Ordinary maintenance and mechanical repairs are separate from opening a traction battery or rebuilding a drive unit. We explain any specialist referral and separate charges if the concern involves internal high-voltage components or manufacturer-controlled software.

Planning the cost

Tesla repair prices and what they include

Use these amounts to plan the visit. An investigation charge covers finding the fault. A repair estimate covers the named parts and fitting. The written quote sets the total for your car before work begins.

Typical Tesla job estimates

These are estimated repairs for the stated assumptions, not completed customer jobs. Each total includes 5% VAT, the listed parts and fitting. An additional diagnostic investigation is charged separately if needed.

2021 Model 3 front brake pads

Typical job estimate of AED 1,600–2,700

One compatible front pad set, normal fitting hardware, installation and brake-disc inspection. This assumes the discs remain within specification and the calipers move correctly. A scored disc, sticking caliper or Performance brake conversion changes the parts and total.

The finishing checks cover pedal operation, wheel security and the original braking concern. Rear pads are not included merely because the front axle needs attention.

2020 Model 3 auxiliary battery

Typical job estimate of AED 500–1,100

One correctly matched lead-acid auxiliary battery, fitting, connection checks and confirmation that the low-voltage system operates normally. The estimate applies only where the car is equipped for that battery type.

Recurring discharge requires investigation of charging or electrical loads. A later lithium battery is not an interchangeable upgrade and is outside this estimate. No traction-battery work is included.

Maintenance that matches your Tesla and its condition

Tesla maintenance is built around the items due on your vehicle. There is no combustion-engine oil change, spark-plug service or fuel-filter replacement to add to an electric-car package.

  • Inspect

Tire condition and pressures, brake wear, suspension joints, visible leaks, wipers and the concern you reported. A worn part becomes a repair item, rather than an automatic addition to every visit.

  • Replace when due

Cabin filters, wipers and other consumables according to the vehicle’s maintenance guidance and their condition. A HEPA filter, where fitted, is a separate component from the ordinary cabin filter.

  • Service when needed

Brake-fluid testing and replacement, alignment and cooling-system attention follow the relevant recommendation or inspection finding. Refrigerant and battery coolant are not routine top-ups added to every package.

  • Record the work

Keep the invoice, fitted-part information and completed maintenance details. A reminder reset should follow the actual work, with any outstanding item explained at collection.

Common maintenance due items

Check the current handbook and the touchscreen Maintenance Summary for your build. Dubai dust, heat and driving conditions can justify an earlier inspection without turning every item into an annual replacement.

  • Model 3 and Model Y cabin filters are generally due every two years. Later Model S and Model X guidance is three years, while 2012 to 2020 builds use two years.
  • A fitted HEPA and carbon filter set is generally due every three years. It is separate from an ordinary cabin-filter job.
  • Tesla recommends tire rotation at 10,000 km or a tread-depth difference of 1.5 mm, whichever comes first. Different front and rear sizes or directional fitments can restrict rotation.
  • Brake fluid is generally tested every four years and replaced when needed. Heavy braking and hot, humid use can require earlier checks.
  • AC desiccant service depends on heat-pump equipment and build year. Battery coolant is not a routine refill. Follow the car-specific recommendation.

Restore braking, ride comfort and tire contact

A vibration can involve the wheels, brakes or suspension. The repair should address the component that has changed, with the related checks included where needed.

Brakes still need physical inspection

Regenerative braking reduces some friction-brake use. Pads, discs, calipers and brake fluid still need attention to their condition. Grinding, a changed pedal or reduced stopping performance calls for prompt assessment.

Close inspection of a brake disc friction surface

Brake repair choices

Pad replacement may be sufficient when the discs and calipers remain serviceable. Disc replacement is a separate decision based on condition and the applicable limits. Quotes identify the axle, pad set, discs if needed, and any caliper or fluid work.

Suspension and steering repairs

We assess control arms, bushes, ball joints, dampers and steering components for play, damage and noise. Replacing an individual worn arm or joint can avoid unnecessary assembly replacement. On air-equipped Model S or Model X vehicles, height loss also needs investigation of the strut, air supply and controls.

Tires, rims and alignment

Replacement tires must match the specified size, load and speed rating. Rotation depends on the fitted front and rear sizes and tire type. Balancing addresses wheel imbalance, while alignment addresses wheel geometry. Our wheel alignment and balancing service explains the difference.

Battery, charging and drive-system faults

Low-voltage faults, a charging interruption and a road noise need different checks. A battery alert alone does not identify which component has failed.

Tesla Model S connected to a wall charging point

Charging checks start with the reported fault

A charging interruption may involve the station, connector, settings or the car. We compare the alert and available checks before recommending a component. If the problem appears at only one location, the charging equipment may need its own assessment.

A healthy traction pack does not rule out an auxiliary-battery fault. Replacing that smaller battery does not repair a high-voltage pack.

Check the low-voltage supply

We test the auxiliary battery, connections and electrical loads. Recurring discharge may need further electrical diagnosis rather than another battery.

  • The replacement must match the car’s chemistry, voltage and fitment. Earlier lead-acid and later lithium systems are different.
  • We quote the compatible battery or electrical repair and any required setup before fitting.

Check the charging complaint

Tell us whether the fault happens on AC, DC or both. The alert and whether it repeats at another charging point help guide the assessment.

  • Charging equipment and conditions are considered alongside the car’s reported fault.
  • Traction-battery, onboard-charger and inverter work is discussed separately, with specialist referral where needed.

Identify the source before drive-unit work

Tires, wheel bearings and suspension can cause noise that resembles a drive-unit fault. We separate these causes before considering a motor or reduction unit.

  • The assessment follows when and how the noise occurs.
  • Internal drive-unit work needs suitable specialist capability and a separately agreed quote.

The auxiliary battery powers the electronics. The traction battery supplies driving energy. For a shutdown or pull-over alert, stop safely and follow the vehicle’s instruction. Ask about vehicle recovery if it cannot be driven.

AC repairs for the complaint you notice

Airflow, cabin cooling and the wider thermal system involve different work. Heat-pump equipment and model generation influence the parts and procedures.

Weak airflow
Inspect the cabin-filter condition, blower and air distribution. Filter replacement addresses a dirty filter. A blower or control fault needs its own repair.
Warm air
Assess cooling performance and the refrigerant system. Leak repair and a correctly specified recharge are different from replacing a failed condenser, evaporator or electric compressor.
Odor or moisture
Check filters, drainage and the source of the smell or water. Cleaning, filter replacement and drain attention are selected for the finding.
Thermal-system alert
Cooling complaints accompanied by battery or charging alerts need a broader assessment. A traction-battery or high-voltage compressor concern may require specialist diagnosis. We explain that next step alongside the ordinary AC checks.

Bodywork, glass and interior repairs with the right finish

We handle cosmetic repair inquiries, paintwork, glass and interior damage. The damaged area and fitted features determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate.

White Tesla Model X with falcon-wing doors open

Doors, glazing, seals and trim must fit and operate correctly after the work. Model X falcon-wing doors have different access and operating requirements from a conventional door.

Dents, scratches and paintwork

A suitable dent may be repairable while retaining the paint. Broken paint, deeper deformation or damaged mountings can require refinishing or replacement. Our collision repair service covers the wider damage assessment and repair arrangements.

Glass, cameras and restraints

A windshield quotation needs the correct glass and an assessment of camera-related setup. Airbags, restraint faults and structural damage need the correct repair procedure and any required specialist checks. Cosmetic repair should not conceal unresolved safety damage.

Seats, trim and accident arrangements

Seat-cover, lining and trim work should preserve the operation of fitted safety components. For an accident inquiry, send damage photographs and the available report. Insurer approval depends on the policy and damage assessment. A private repair estimate is separate from an approved insurance claim.

Choose compatible parts and understand the fitted total

Parts choices matter most when they change compatibility, finish, expected life or the amount of work needed. We discuss the available option for the specific repair.

Parts selected for your vehicle

Genuine Tesla and suitable alternative parts are different purchasing choices. A quoted alternative should identify its manufacturer and application. Production version, market specification and fitted equipment determine compatibility. Used or remanufactured assemblies, where suitable and available, need their condition and warranty stated clearly.

What your repair quotation includes

The estimate identifies the parts, quantities and installation work. Alignment, fluids, setup and testing belong in the total when the repair requires them. Additional damage or specialist work is discussed before the job is extended. Ask for the applicable parts and workmanship terms with the quotation.

What happens after you contact us

Start with your model and the service or concern. We arrange the assessment, explain any charge and provide a written repair estimate. Parts are ordered and additional work starts after approval. Year, mileage, a warning image or a VIN can be supplied later when they help identify the job.

Collection and repair checks

The checks match the work. Brake repairs need pedal and braking checks. Suspension work needs the original noise or handling concern reassessed and alignment when required. AC work needs cooling and leak checks. Battery fitting needs supply and warning checks. Body repairs need panel fit, finish and affected features checked.

Keep the itemized invoice and the details of fitted parts. Any unresolved concern or recommended follow-up should be explained at handover. If the same warning or noise returns, contact the workshop with what changed rather than assuming it is normal settling.

When to stop driving or arrange an inspection

Use the exact dashboard instruction and the change in how the car behaves. A phone description cannot establish that a damaged or warning-equipped car is safe to drive.

  • Stop safely

A pull-over or shutdown instruction, reduced stopping ability, a loose wheel, smoke or severe impact damage calls for a safe stop and suitable recovery. Do not continue to the workshop to test whether the fault clears.

  • Arrange checks soon

New knocking, repeated charging interruptions, uneven tire wear, a leaning air-equipped car or an AC fault needs an assessment. Note whether the problem happens when parked, turning, braking or charging. A photo or recording is helpful if safely available.

  • Transport the car correctly

Tell the recovery team that it is a Tesla and whether wheels can roll. Tesla recommends flatbed transport with the wheels off the ground. Loading and Tow Mode must follow the exact model handbook. Do not use Tow Mode as permission to tow the car along the road.

Our car recovery service can help arrange transport. Read the Model 3 transport instructions for that model, and use the relevant handbook for another Tesla.

Questions before arranging your Tesla repair visit

A short description of the concern is enough to begin. A warning screenshot, service record or photograph can help with the next step.

Can I use an independent Tesla workshop?

Yes, for non-warranty repair and maintenance. My Car Repair Dubai is independent. Tesla-covered warranty work goes through Tesla, and damage caused by improper third-party work can affect coverage. Check your own vehicle’s terms through Tesla’s warranty guidance before paying for a potentially covered fault.

Does my Tesla need an annual service?

Tesla does not require one universal annual maintenance package. Book the items due under your vehicle’s maintenance guidance or arrange an inspection for a particular concern. A new fault should be assessed without waiting for the next planned visit.

How long will the work take?

Timing depends on the investigation, parts availability, access and completion checks. A straightforward filter or wheel appointment differs from bodywork or a repeated electrical fault. We discuss a collection estimate after the job is defined, and tell you if further work changes it.

Can you arrange collection in Dubai?

Pickup and drop-off may be arranged depending on location and availability. Tell us whether the car can drive. An immobilized Tesla needs a suitable transport plan, with the arrangements and charges agreed before collection.

Can you work on imported Tesla vehicles?

Yes, contact us about the service or fault on your imported Tesla. Charging hardware, software support and part specifications can differ from UAE-delivered cars. We handle the parts checks and explain any specialist requirement. Original-market details are useful follow-up information, not a condition for making contact.
