It runs hot or loses coolant
A pressure check and relevant fan, hose, radiator and circulation checks help locate the fault. A leaking connection may need a focused repair. An engine that has overheated may need further damage checks.

Overheating in traffic, a hesitant gearbox or a knock over bumps? We inspect the problem, identify your Daihatsu version and explain the repair before you spend.
Engine, transmission, AC, brake and suspension repairs in Al Quoz. Approve the parts and labor before work starts.
Start with what changed
Tell us when it happens and what has already been repaired. A warning light or a noise starts the investigation. It does not identify the replacement part.
A pressure check and relevant fan, hose, radiator and circulation checks help locate the fault. A leaking connection may need a focused repair. An engine that has overheated may need further damage checks.
We separate engine running, mounting and driveline concerns from a gearbox fault. Identify the fitted manual, conventional automatic or CVT before choosing fluid, tests or a replacement unit.
Check the brakes, joints, bushings, mounts and tires against the complaint. A worn joint needs repair before alignment. Brake grinding, pulling and a soft pedal need different checks.
Useful figures before you book
These planning ranges use our published workshop allowances for the stated work. They include fitting and 5% VAT. Your model, parts availability and confirmed fault determine the written quote. They are not fixed prices for every Daihatsu.
Specified oil, a compatible new filter, fitting and routine checks. Capacity and oil specification determine the total. Extra filters, plugs and fault diagnosis are separate.
One axle with a new compatible quality aftermarket pad set and fitting. Discs, caliper repairs and other hardware are excluded. Confirm the exact brake system.
Two compatible new aftermarket discs, one pad set and fitting on one axle. Additional hydraulic repairs or difficult parts sourcing need a separate quote.
One straightforward compatible new component and fitting. Some joints require a complete arm. Alignment, other worn parts and seized fittings are additional.
Two matching new units on one axle, fitting and standard alignment when required. Mounts, springs and additional damage are separate.
The agreed computer scan and first checks of the reported fault. Extended electrical tests, dismantling and specialist work need separate approval. The initial visual assessment is free.
Routine refrigerant service for a suitable system after assessment. Leak repair, compressor replacement, other refrigerants and major AC work are excluded.
An identified repair on a suitable conventional automatic with the agreed parts and fitting. The unit and failed component must be confirmed. This is not a CVT overhaul price.
Removal, agreed internal repairs and refitting on a suitable unit. Confirm fluids, internal parts and testing in the complete estimate. Wider damage can exceed this allowance.
For a suitable repair with head removal, a warping check, new gasket and coolant. Machining, cracks or deeper engine damage can change the total. Confirm fasteners, seals and testing.
Compare the complete fitted total. Diagnosis is separate unless your quote includes it. Ask for the parts brand, quantity, fluids, setup, testing and warranty. A plus sign means the upper figure can be exceeded.
Send the model year, VIN or chassis number, mileage and symptom. We can check the applicable parts route and narrow the estimate before you arrange the visit.
Match the car before ordering
The model badge alone is not enough. Build year, engine, transmission and original market affect the part number and the correct service information.

Confirm the generation and whether the car has two wheel drive or four wheel drive equipment. A road speed vibration can involve tires or the driveline as well as the transmission. Older Rocky and newer vehicles sharing the name need separate identification.
Match the engine and gearbox before choosing fluids or assemblies. Daihatsu lists D-CVT on its Indonesian New Sirion, which is a reason to check the exact car instead of applying one automatic service to every Sirion.
Confirm the frame code, engine and fitted equipment before promising parts or diagnostic access. Tell us about an idle stop system, previous engine or gearbox replacement, and any import documents available.
Separate routine mechanical repairs from a folding roof, water leak or body mechanism concern. Describe where the roof cycle stops. We confirm support and parts availability for that specific job before accepting specialist work.
Cooling loss and engine condition
A coolant top-up may restore the level temporarily. It does not explain the loss. Work through the cooling fault, any resulting damage and the complete repair cost before choosing parts.
Inspection can include a pressure test, visible leaks, the radiator, hoses, fan operation and relevant temperature information. Assess the thermostat and water pump when circulation is in doubt.
If findings suggest internal damage, agree the required compression, leak-down or other appropriate tests before dismantling. A confirmed head gasket repair needs both the head condition and the original cooling fault addressed.
For an older Daihatsu, compare a defined repair with a compatible replacement. Include fluids, seals, testing and written warranty terms in the complete fitted cost.

Locate the leak, check the engine and compare the complete fitted repair.
Tell us when the temperature rises. Stationary traffic, highway driving and a recent repair provide different clues. Never continue driving simply because the gauge drops again.
See Daihatsu engine repair options before authorizing a strip-down.
Identify the installed unit
A fluid service, a targeted repair and a rebuild solve different problems. Slipping, delayed engagement or a shudder needs assessment before any one route is recommended.
| Fitted transmission | What must be checked | What to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Manual | Clutch operation, actuation, mounting, shift mechanism and the source of the noise. | Whether the fault needs clutch work, an external repair or internal gearbox investigation. |
| Conventional automatic | Fault data, leaks, correct fluid procedure and shift behavior at the temperature where the complaint occurs. | A confirmed component repair, rebuild or compatible replacement with removal, refitting and testing included. |
| CVT or D-CVT | Exact unit identification, specified fluid, relevant diagnostic access and condition. | A unit-specific quote and supported procedure. A conventional automatic price is not a CVT rebuild allowance. |
Our Daihatsu transmission repair service helps you compare the applicable repair routes.
Comfort and road safety
Tell us what changed, how quickly it happened and whether another repair came just before it. Each repair needs checks that match the original complaint.
Weak airflow or warm air
Weak airflow can involve a filter or blower. Warm air with normal airflow needs refrigerant, pressure, temperature and control checks as appropriate.
A confirmed leak needs its location and repair explained. A recharge allowance does not cover a compressor or evaporator replacement. See Daihatsu AC repair.
Noise, pulling or uneven tire wear
Measure pads and discs and assess caliper operation before choosing pads alone or pads and discs. Drum brakes need the correct shoe, drum and hydraulic checks.
Locate play or damage before replacing suspension parts. Brake repair and suspension repair should identify the affected axle and whether alignment is needed.

Discuss vent performance after AC repairs and pedal, steering or noise checks after chassis work. A safe road test should reflect the reported conditions.
Three quotation examples
These are illustrative estimates, not completed customer jobs. They use the allowances above and include 5% VAT. Parts compatibility and the fault must be confirmed before a written quote.
Oil and filter service plus one compatible new aftermarket pad set and fitting on the front axle. The discs are assumed to be serviceable.
Extra filters, disc replacement, caliper work and diagnosis are separate.
Two compatible new struts, fitting and standard alignment when required. The quote must identify the exact generation and fitted suspension.
Mounts, springs, seized fittings and other worn components are separate.
An identified repair may be appropriate when the remaining unit is serviceable. Wider internal damage may instead need a rebuild estimate.
These are alternative repair routes. Do not add a component repair allowance to a complete rebuild automatically.
Parts availability matters
For older models and imports, confirm the exact fit, supply time and complete cost before leaving the car. A clear quote helps you choose the repair with fewer surprises.

Before you book
Practical answers about diagnosis, older models, parts, warranty and planning your visit.
A standard pad set with fitting on one axle is estimated at AED 250–500 including 5% VAT. Suitable conventional automatic component repairs use an allowance of AED 1,500–4,500. Diagnosis is separate unless included in the quote. Model identification, parts availability and the confirmed fault determine your total.
The initial visual assessment of accessible areas is free. Computer scanning and agreed first fault checks are estimated at AED 150–350 including VAT. Extended testing and dismantling need a separate agreement.
We check availability after identifying the car and required part. Send the VIN or chassis number, build year, engine and any existing part number. Imported and discontinued models can have different fitment and lead times. We confirm what can be supplied before promising the repair.
No. The installed transmission and the correct manufacturer information determine the fluid and service procedure. Conventional automatics, CVTs and D-CVT applications must not be treated as interchangeable. A model name alone does not identify the fluid.
Compare the confirmed damage and complete fitted alternatives before deciding. A localized fault may suit a repair. More extensive damage may justify a compatible replacement comparison. Include installation, fluids, supporting repairs, testing and the actual warranty for each route.
Send the model year and describe where the roof stops or leaks. We confirm the required diagnostic access, parts and specialist support for that job first. Acceptance of routine mechanical work does not automatically confirm support for every roof mechanism.
Use the maintenance information for the exact model, engine and original market, together with mileage, time and service history. Driving conditions can affect the required schedule. A universal package should not replace the correct specification or repeat recently completed work.
We are an independent workshop. For a manufacturer warranty question or a possible recall, check with the responsible Daihatsu representative using the vehicle identification details. Independent repairs and manufacturer campaign work have different approval routes.
Timing depends on the confirmed fault, workshop availability, parts supply and final checks. We agree an expected completion after assessing the job. Imported components or additional damage can change the plan, so an exact deadline should not be promised before those details are known.
Call to discuss the work, or send the model, year, mileage and symptoms on WhatsApp. We’ll help you arrange the assessment and explain the next step. The initial visual assessment is free, chargeable diagnosis and repairs are agreed separately.
