All estimates below include 5% VAT. Each amount covers the work described beside it. These published passenger-car ranges are a starting point, with the final FAW quote based on the engine, fitted parts and confirmed damage.

- Specified oil up to 5 liters, a compatible filter, fitting, level and leak checks for suitable engines. Costlier oil or higher capacity is additional. Higher capacity or costlier specified oil may be AED 350 to 600.
- Brake pads on one axleAED 250 to 500
- One suitable quality aftermarket pad set and fitting. Worn discs, separate sensors or damaged hardware are additional. Subject to application and availability.
- Pads and discs on one axleAED 650 to 2,500
- Two new discs, a pad set, fitting and final checks using standard quality aftermarket parts where available. Per axle.
- Manual clutch replacementAED 1,700 to 4,300
- Compatible clutch kit and fitting for a manual application. Flywheel work, hydraulics and additional oil seals are separate. Not a quote for an automatic or dual-clutch unit.
- Timing kit replacementAED 1,450 to 4,400
- Compatible timing components, fitting and timing checks for the identified engine. A pump, related leaks or existing internal damage can add cost. Only when replacement is due or a fault is confirmed.
- Head gasket repairAED 2,900 to 7,800
- Head removal, distortion checks, replacement gasket and coolant. Extra machining or additional engine damage requires a revised estimate. After diagnosis.
- AC compressor and fittingAED 1,785 to 3,465
- Compatible compressor and fitting only. Refrigerant, dryer, flushing and any contamination repairs are additional when required. The complete AC repair total is confirmed after inspection. Component and fitting estimate.

It shakes or uses more fuel
Compare misfire data, ignition, intake, fueling and engine condition. Check mounts when vibration reaches the cabin.
It loses coolant or the AC is warm
Engine cooling and cabin AC need separate leak and operating checks. A refrigerant recharge cannot repair an engine cooling fault.
Gears slip or braking changes
Identify the gearbox before quoting internal work. Inspect brakes, tires and suspension for weak braking, wandering or vibration.
Stop safely for overheating, steam, a flashing engine warning, impaired braking or loss of drive. Switch off the engine for overheating and never open a hot coolant cap. Arrange suitable vehicle recovery when the car is unsafe to drive.

Starting trouble needs the right first test
No cranking or slow cranking
Test battery condition, terminal connections, voltage drop and starter control as the complaint requires. If the battery repeatedly goes flat, check charging and unwanted current draw before replacing it.
A suitable conventional 12V battery with basic fitting is estimated at AED 300 to 750 including VAT. AGM or higher-cost applications may be AED 750 to 1,600 or more. Diagnosis, callout and any required setup are separate. Confirm the battery type and fitment first.
Cranking without starting
The investigation follows the engine type and stored fault information. Checks may involve fuel delivery, ignition, engine-speed signals, mechanical timing or the immobilizer. Further testing is agreed before replacing a pump, sensor or control unit.

Keep maintenance tied to the car’s history
Oil filters and the next service
Use the required oil specification, quantity and filter for the actual engine. Check the service record before adding spark plugs, filters or fluid changes. The oil and filter service starts with a defined job rather than an undefined major-service package.
Timing and cooling
Confirm whether the engine uses a belt or chain and follow its applicable schedule. For coolant loss, test for a leak and check fans, circulation and temperature control as needed. A confirmed hose, radiator, pump or thermostat fault calls for a different repair from internal engine damage. The estimate identifies the failed part, coolant and labor. After repair, recheck leaks and operating temperature.
Cabin AC
Check airflow, cooling performance, fans and pressures as needed. Match any refrigerant work to the vehicle label. For a suitable R134a system, recovery, evacuation and recharge are estimated at AED 262.50 to 367.50 including VAT. Leak repairs, failed parts and other refrigerants are separate. Check brakes and suspension before buying a full set

Repair play before alignment
Resolve unsafe tire damage and worn joints first. Wheel balancing and alignment address different causes of vibration and uneven wear.

Genuine branded parts
Ask for the exact part number and application. Availability may depend on the supplier and the vehicle’s original market. A brand name alone does not confirm local stock or delivery time.
Identified alternatives
An original-equipment supplier or suitable aftermarket part may offer a practical option. The quote should identify its maker and warranty. Similar appearance and an OEM quality label are not enough to establish fitment.
Used or remanufactured assemblies
Where a suitable assembly is available, compare identification, condition, testing, fitting and warranty. Keep safety-critical replacements consistent with the applicable repair procedure. A low purchase price is only part of the fitted total.

Can you service an older FAW Oley?
We can assess an Oley service or repair inquiry and confirm the required parts and work for your vehicle. Send the year, engine and symptoms first. We will request the VIN privately when needed for identification.
Are FAW and Bestune repairs covered by the same prices?
No single price covers every FAW group vehicle. The model, engine, transmission and parts availability matter. Our separate Bestune page covers that range, while the estimates here are general passenger-car estimates subject to application.
Can you order a hard-to-find part?
We can check suitable sourcing options after identifying the part. Availability is not guaranteed. Confirm the part number, supplier, lead time, total cost and any deposit or return terms before authorizing a special order.
Is diagnosis included in the free assessment?
The free assessment is an initial visual check. A relevant scan and agreed initial fault diagnosis are estimated at AED 150 to 350 including VAT. Extended testing, dismantling and repairs require separate approval.
Should I repair the engine or replace it?
That depends on the confirmed damage, compatible parts or assembly availability and the condition of the rest of the car. Compare the complete fitted total and written warranty after testing. An engine warning alone does not decide between repair and replacement.
Do you repair FAW trucks as well?
Truck and heavy commercial inquiries need separate acceptance checks for vehicle size, access, equipment and the requested repair. Confirm those details before arranging transport. The passenger-car prices on this page do not apply to trucks.
How long will the car be at the garage?
An initial diagnostic visit generally allows about 30 to 60 minutes once work begins. Intermittent faults, dismantling and parts sourcing take longer. We separate the expected workshop time from supplier delivery time when planning the repair.
Can I arrange pickup and drop-off?
Pickup and drop-off can be discussed subject to availability, access and the agreed charge. For overheating, unsafe brakes or loss of drive, arrange suitable recovery instead of driving to the workshop.
What warranty comes with the repair?
The estimate and invoice identify the warranty that applies to the selected parts and work. Ask for its duration, conditions and exclusions before approval. Different suppliers and used or remanufactured assemblies may have different terms.
